Well,
I was sorry to see the women's US open golf tournament end like it did. There was a rule violation so slight it was only caught on one camera. In the playoff, three-hole, apparently one of the two left barely touched the sand after she had taken a stance to make her shot. So, on the 18th hole, last hole of the playoff, she was informed of a two-shot penalty assessment for the earlier hole. She didn't know she'd done it, didn't complain, and lost of course. Don't like to see them end that way. Them's the rules. She didn't complain. Bummer way to see it end.
