Safe Mail Closed New User Registrations

Absolute load of tosh is safemail.

A lot of these 'encrypted' services are anything but that and are probably more monitored than your usual providers.

Yeah, I opened a safemail account, and subsequently found rather a lot of negative feedback about it.

Looks like safe mail is not as safe as it should be.

Any proof that LE is involved up to now?

Its like the Good TDI from Volkswagen...LOL...so green that I even could not see the car behind the legend...

It seems to make more sense to use one of the "mainstream" email providers, hide in plain sight as it were.

According to the message they posted today, they are deleting 250,000 accounts which they feel violated their use agreement. The only way they could know that is if they were reading emails!

Yes, I seen that, I will be interested to see if my account is still there afterwards.......

Would be very nice to know who "they" are......

Sadly, short of using your own server and PGPing everything with pre-shared keys you're kind of SOL on the "true" privacy front.  Even that isn't totally safe.  I like the suggestion of hiding in plain sight, truth be told if a "they" wants to monitor you they're going to be able to unless you're really being thorough in your precautions.

I just hate losing contacts and recent conversations :/

Yes I opened a sag email account bc a vendor insisted I do about two weeks before it went down. Free account. Only did maybe 3 transactions on it before it crashed. I'll be interested if it's there when they come back online but I kinda doubt it! Lol.... I think big brother is definitely assisting in going through those 250,000 accounts that will be removed although I think the only ones to worry are those within long solid records of sched 1 or 2 transactions. My transactions were unencrypted but minor. Definitely not something worth wasting time on.... But I'm sure some people have but up some pretty serious history on there thinking it was avail too safe. I know I am going with the best paid service now even tho my transactions are personal use and not that serious I still like security and privacy.

I'm just glad all the emails on my account were sent by SWIM! /default_smile.png

Who is they?

They are always defective "us's" with addictions to control, power, even truth.

AND, Greetings to fellow paranoids ... When right, but wrong, it may be too late.

  1. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: domestic p1ns are harder and harder to come by which sucks and when I find them, they're so expensive
  2. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: me too. sad to see and hear but honestly when R told me he was serving 6,000 people, I knew it was a matter of time
  3. C @ Charizard179: Still pisses me off, common folk need subscriptions for anxiety etc, while the “big dogs” at the top are obviously subscribed out of their minds on high energy shit
  4. C @ Charizard179: Domestic only for a while. Should be fine
  5. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: so anything I get coming to me from outside the country will be inspected regardless if it looks sus or not
  6. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: I've been flagged and sent a love letter a long time ago for an international shipment
  7. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: doubtful, unless international
  8. C @ Charizard179: Possibilities of getting red flagged etc
  9. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: right but you're fine
  10. C @ Charizard179: Small fish, 1 time subscriber…shit still sucks
  11. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: they want big fish
  12. Ketmaster @ Ketmaster: Unless you're a big buyer they don't give a care
  13. L @ Lonertool: Everything is up in the air until we have definitive proof of C let not put that energy in the air! let all just do our part and chill out. Things will settle eventually RESPECT to everyone here of course the important thing is to make sure we all practice great OPSEC and support each other in this time.
  14. Wicked @ Wicked: Monero isn’t a bad idea imo. I’ve asked a few times to use it and been denied actually
  15. M @ Mammasboi123: There’s been some rule
  16. P @ ProtekPhilipe: Should vendors here start prioritizing monero for payment? And maybe show site links for sponsored member threads only. It's a tiny defense, but any way to stay lower key would help right now
  17. etizoman @ etizoman: God fucking dann. Just read the article. Definitely RIP to their normal lives ever again. Both C and R were Amazing people and have provided a lot of great times and some personal wisdom thru their products. And what @Wicked said, its true, man. Sucks you gotta kinda be paranoid when you reach a certain level of status....
  18. Wicked @ Wicked: I agree, it’s unfortunate and a loss for many of us, you’re right R was one of the best. Hopefully it serves as a reminder to others to always stay on top of things. I’m sure it’s easy to get comfortable and feel unstoppable when you reach a certain level as an author
  19. ms3031 @ ms3031: Its unfortunate for everyone but tbh, as with most things illegal, they eventually fall either by their own hand or LE, there are some rare success people but whose to say who is working with authorities and who is not. In fact thjs entire forum creates an easy access to the people they want just a much as we want them. Nothing can be done for those who fly too close to the sun.
