to continue getting scripted for X@n@x, because the new GP replaced my OLD GP , and was unclear why I was on lexapro and X@n@x, but i was never really on lexapro. THe dam nurse put me on it for no reason , thinking it would help >  I was dumb and said sure ,okay without knowing it was a SSRI , and her going into detail. So  I go for refill, new DOc questions me why im on both.

I tried to explain , his nurse wrote the other script. He was still unclear, i said i dont need lexapro. He said well i want you to see a pysch if I am going to write you x@n@x. ,damnit nurse:( and and OLD DOC LEAVING ME <3

I'd try and look at this positively @Def_Starr, surely you won't just be left high and dry with no alternative and a dependence? The good news is that you have this place!

indeed , DBG<3 please do not leave me for many many many many many and many years :)

I can't agree more @Def_Starr! My god if I lost @bwillia1 the best vendor here. I have to put in an honorable mention for Alex love him that's where I get my bars. I would be lost without this board and it's great members like you. Shoot I'm jealous that you could find a doctor to prescribe them in the first place. I've had them prescribed in California. What a wonderful place! It was a one stop shop. Got my medical marijuana card for 99 plants for $40.00 my suboxone and my zannies from one doctor. Now in Ohio I have tried so many doctors and not one will prescribe them. They act like I'm asking for heroin! Good luck to you sweetie!

@Heavenlee ,I am facing a battle now loosing my script with my doctor who replaced my old doctor. During the transition between my old Doctor and New i was seeing the Nurse, so she was continuing to fill the  scripts for me, but than she had to go on medical leave so on my 3rd visit this year I finally met the new Doctor for my primary care...

Anyway the Nurse, bluntly say why not try lexapro, new Doctor was unsure why i was on x@nz and Lexapro, I tried to explain to him his nurse decided to put me on it or suggest I try it with my anxiety, bad mistake. The new Doctor was unsure why I had to be on both, I was like in my head "MY RECORDS ARE THERE, I BEEN GETTING SCRIPTED FOR 9yrs" but I guess he didn't bother to read my profile good, and was quick to see me in less than few mins, refilled my script. He said I sholld consultant if  I am going to get prescribed under his care, that irritated me, The old Doctor assured me as long as I am a patient here I never have to worry about  loosing my script or being questioned.

I tried to reach out to him, but I guess when you start the practice, open a few more , get rich you retire and travel. So I dont know if the new Doctor is trying to brush me off and have the Pysch scribe me or he just wants a a consult on record for legal.

thanks Heavenlee<3

Bwillia is the best vendor domestically for fruit and vegetables, i havent tried A13X, i guess SY? pricey i think ?

I feel for you @Def_Starr

I think it's ueentébelievable that after 9 freaking years takintgwq

them you would be cut off cold turkeffy. I  would be afraid of my patient would have a seizure and the withdrawal would be uncomfortable as hell, I've had three seizures coming off Xanax but Ie was abusing the hell out of them taking 15 a day from from them. Well at least Modaman has them a heck of a lot cheaper and my last order was 9 days!

good luck to you my friend!!

Hear,Hear @Heavenlee totally agree with EVERYTHING you said,a doctor has a duty of care to they're patients, nor landing them in A and E due to fitting ect!!.

It's a mad world no much wonder iops and email only sources are much in demand ?.

Peace

Bliss. ..

the system is broke, health care is worse. The office charges patients the same price w/o insurance as they bill my insurance, what they do is they bill my insurance high and than insurance negotiates the price down. Therefore the price becomes equal to almost as a cash walk in. Doctors suck !

I regret to say @Def_Starr and @Heavenlee I can see our good old NHS over here in the UK becoming the same as you guys???!!

A sad day for the uk as far as im conserned not to mention the amount of moolah it will cost our nation...

Peace

Bliss.....

I don't know bliss, the people wouldn't stand for it! Universal healthcare cannot just be taken away, what I do see ahead possibly is a system where you could pay to be seen quicker /sooner. It has to be said though, some NHS trusts in England are close to insolvent, it's not so bad in Scotland with it being devolved, many trusts are relatively healthy for now , thanks to land sales,  that money won't last forever though. I don't pretend to understand the US healthcare system, but I've said many times, keeping your citizens healthy is one of the most important things for a government to do, it's up there with defence spending/education et al. It just shouldn't be a money making venture. Though we do also have the choice to go private here also, it's not a bad thing either.

I AGREE and I have no idea how I ended up with a medical share of cost of 1000 a month

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
