Where is the best place to get BC. The pax ful seems a load of shit.  Id for this id for that.  I got id but they don't make it easy to show it. There's wu, Amazon gift card psn network cards for currency. What thre fuck. All I need is $10 in BC , but most don't go that low to buy. Don't want to get mugged off on my first purchase.

Conceited.

localbitcoins.com has proven to me to be the safest, fastest and cheapest for buying bc from a trader and making payments to bitcoin addresses. Most traders however require strong ID. For instance:

 - Photo of you holding your passport

 - Photo of you holding the card for which you are making the transaction with (card number obscured).

 - A Photo of a signed and dated statement that the bitcoins are not for illegal purposes.

Reason for this is that they do not want to have the blockchain intercepted by an authority for some sick ba5tard buying sick services from some god forsaken hole in part of the planet where these practices still occur. You know what I am referring to.

I have done this four time with four different traders on Localbitcoin. It is a one-off, you can trade with them after they have identified you. For sure it is a faff, however, from first sign-up to the site, establish the wallet, perform a trade. (Twenty minutes tops) and you are done..

You will not be mugged-off on localbitcoin. They also use three factor authentication so you will also need to download something like google authentication app from I-store or Play store. This is for your safety to secure your bitcoin.

@Conceited @kinsona    I, too, loved LocalBitcoins.  It was soooo much easier to purchase than the other sites I tried (and had failures with).  And, it was quick and super easy.  For one transaction, I didn't even have to use a photo.  And, make sure when you do buy, send donation right away.

I bought bitcoins when they were high, waited too long to donate (and then they tanked severely).  I lost 3/4 of the value.

And, LocalBitcoins will allow a minimum of $10 purchase, but -- remember, when you transfer Bitcoins (to your personal wallet), there will be a fee.  It may be a safe bet to buy $15 worth.

I've managed to buy bit coin but can't use it because its say transfer pending. Even though I can see what I bought and got fee taken for transferring to private wallet.

I know there are bit coin machines in many big cities almost like a bank cash machine. You can check on the net@Conceited where the nearest one to you.I'm pretty useless with this payment option but I think this would be the easiest option for me.

Bliss. . . .

@blissopifree 2 I have seen the bc machines before never used it though. I just use the same vendor on local bit now. Never had any problems with them. Made enough transactions to use over vendors if i want now without having to go through the id bs, because i got a good reputation or whatever the rating thing is called.

Its become second nature now when getting bc. It seemed  daunting at first but got over that after a couple goes.

@Conceited I second your last 2 sentences. If you have read any of my first posts on trying to grasp how to buy, sell, transfer...whatever, in relation to BC, you will quickly realize how clueless I was. I am not really sure why. I am in banking and on the "old traditional" sides of banking  we are allowing customers to deposit BCs into regular checking accounts.  I guess it's just that sense of not really understanding how it all works. Logical is my way of thinking and I was having a difficult time getting it all to flow logically!

BUT now...Katie bar the door!...I get most of it now. While my daughter initially helped me get my info set up (I already use the squarecash app) to be able to buy/sell/transfer on that app she didnt really do much because there was a glitch with their approval so I spent 5 days waiting to be approved (the entire time she was here--we got nothing accomplished except waiting) only to finally get online with customer service chat to find out about said glitch.

So I had to start over and use a different process then what as outlined (and the one I followed) to get approved to even use the BC portion of the app.

Now it's a tiny bit of a game I am playing with watching the price and trying to buy while it's a little low to see how much money I can make. Heavy emphasis on "tiny"!

It has been good for me to stretch myself with this. In my profession cryptocurrency is already upon us and its good for me to get real world experience.

By 2025, most banking experts are predicting, cryptocurrency will be how we all transact business. The large bank where I work will be rolling out their "own" cryptocurrency in the next 18 months.

So yes! 100% on getting used to it and then becoming second nature! 😁

Now...crypto mining...still wrapping my head around that! 🙄
