I’ve been browsing here a long time but never took the plunge as televend always had what I wanted. It’s not recreational, my wife has cystic fibrosis and her pain clinic has told her her drugs are being cut as they didn’t except her to be alive. I can honestly say I was shitting it. Im my  wife’s carer and seeing a loved one in agony is not an experience I would recommend. Anyway thank you 🙏  I love this place already. Off to check for some recreational substances now. Forgot to say, first guy I emailed, “phonemedic” had exactly what we needed.

Thanks for the kind words. The NHS are getting a joke. I sat next to my wife last week and her consultant said that years ago we thought you would be dead so giving you opiates didn’t matter. You would be dead anyway. She got sent to a pain consultant who after 10 minutes on the phone to her said I’m going to take you off all your meds. NHS make me sick at times. I had an argument with my neighbour over this clap for nhs shite. She has dropped 80 mg sevredol MST 120 mg dhc now she has eighty mg morning and night. Can’t walk, has to be carried everywhere we been shielding since the very beginning of this crap. Basically spends her day crying in agony so fuck it I’ve had enough. I’ll get them.

So fucking brutal.  Only giving palliative care when its end-of-life is insane so often.  Suffering is suffering.   I think a lot of folks here can deeply relate to what you and yr wife are going through.  Again, my heart goes out and i hope you find everything you need.

I truly am sorry. I cant believe they would say things like that. ( I'm sure they tried to make it less hurtful). But really, I cant believe they said that!!!! Pain management is crap. Expecially your situation. I'm super sorry!!!!!! But I am happy you found this place. There are lots of good people here. If you search enough, you will find the right things. Just make sure to read into past posts of certain topics. So you can find the good and the bad and who to avoid. With little work, you'll find what you need. Check the email sections and read up. With a little reading you should be able to see. I hope the best for you and your wife!!!!! I'm crossing my fingers and saying a prayer that you will find what you are looking for.

@Raskol I would recommend getting some fentanyl testing strips. Dont know exacrly wht your looking for. Not everyone is honest here. But Many Many are very Honest. Order small amounts from a vendor at first and test it with the strips. Like I said, read lots of there reviews to see complaints or praises. More then likely if you have researched good, you will have found the good guys! Good luck my friend.

Thanks for the advice drunken smurf. My wife has actually been prescribed fentanyl it’s branded abstral. That was only for a short period as her doctors see it as end of life treatment. It’s zomorph im buying so it’s pretty hard to fake because of all the small beads. I know all about presses and do my best not to touch them. Anyway thanks for the concern and stay safe.

I'm so sorry you and your wife are going through what you are - it's atrocious and unforgivable. I've had my own "fun" with NHS provision, and it really does seem to be a lucky dip as to who and what you get. They seem to be scared shitless they'll get in trouble for prescribing substances that have been demonised, completely forgetting that they were designed for a bloody purpose, and that their actual job is treating their patients and relieving suffering.

I hope this forum provides you with the assistance you need, and I have no doubt you'll get some much needed support in the process. As a general rule the people here are awesome, and this is a great place to find what you clearly need.

Fingers crossed and much good wishes for you both, Bunny

@Raskol your story is so sad and so common in this age. It’s very sad, frustrating and inhumane. Another reason half of us are here. Sad state of affairs. Good luck.

@BunnyPunch  @Deepnorth, Thankyou for the kind words. It means a lot. I go weeks at a time without speaking to anyone apart from my wonderful wife, it’s nice to Realise others are going through the same.  My time here has been great, learned a lot when I thought I knew everything but every day is a school day here.. thanks to the man @PhoneMedic_UK my wife’s life has got a lot easier. She is still in 24 hour pain, but not as badly as before so she’s Happy. Happy wife, happy life.

Take Care everyone and Thankyou for your kind words.

@Raskol So so glad you and your wife found the things you need and that she is getting some relief and happier for it!  PM is amazing!  Also i didnt realize your username was a C&P reference! i thought it was an alternative spelling to Rascal or something :81_joy_cat:

Thanks @DoomKitty.  You are the first person to comment on that. I used other groups and markets before here using the surname and nobody clicked on. It’s a wonderful book, I read it first in my 20s and it made me realise a lot of things even if it is a tad longwinded. The progression of the main character from beginning to end is perfect. Shows that their is hope for everyone even those who are Alienated from society. Without going into too much my life resembled that of Rodion, but I met an amazing wife, was in Jamaica getting married within the year and have now reached 20 years together.

As for my Darling wife, her life has changed dramatically since I’ve been using here. It’s seems like a nasty joke the way people with chronic pain are treated in this country. I have actually heard doctors blaming the opioid crisis in USA. Well that is one of the reasons as we are given different ones all the time. Doctors need to realise that these drugs have a clinical use apart from palliative care and stop taking them off people or more likely take them down to a stupidly low level that does nothing due to tolerance.

@Raskol  I cant remember too much about the book its been so long.  I read a number of Dostoevsky's books in my late late teens.  Dont know that ive read any other author that can spend ten to twenty pages just describing a room!   Yay for 20 years together!  And so glad you found here and can help support your darling wife so she can feel better.  Wishing you another happy 20!

  4. LW815 @ LW815: They didn’t need to. They could have just continued on with the nature or the main purpose of what the relationship between us is, I didn’t really have anybody else to let it out to at the time and they both went far beyond what I’d expect. Not that I’d assumed they’re cold/A-holes - it was just a lot from somebody who’s technically a competent stranger. A very close friend of mine committed suicide on Father’s Day and iwas emotionally wrecked witih nobody to talk to, and the first author just
  5. LW815 @ LW815: @Mokachin0 not really uplifting in the normal sense, but two popular authors on here took the time out of their likely very busy days to not only read my massive walls of text, but both also replied with the most kind, thoughtful and positive responses when I randomly dumped my personal problems into their laps
