Just wanted to inform people about Coinzoom which is the place I use for all my BTC transactions.   I've been thru Coinbase and Coinmama both of which banned me from use.

I have had 0 problems buying or sending BTC directly from Coinzoom wallet.

From the main page click on Portfolio.   You'll see a Deposit button in your default wallet.    Click and this is where you give your credit/debit card,  Back to the main Trade screen you will now be able to buy BTC with your $.   It will take 7 days for your deposit to clear.   Then you will be able to send BTC anywhere from your BTC wallet.

What transactions are you performing that Coinbase and Coinmama banned you? This may be serious, as these are KYC outfits.

EDIT: Read what happened on another post, and this is what I feared. I don't understand why vendors are so lazy. It's really not hard to provide a unique payment address for every order so it's harder to flag any address as belonging to a vendor.

I think you should really consider Feather wallet (a Monero/XMR wallet). Buy BTC from Cash app, send to FixedFloat.com where you exchange it for Monero/XMR (FF will provide you with a BTC address to send your BTC from Cash to, and will ask for an XMR receiving address, which you can generate from your Feather wallet, where it will send your funds to).

I think being banned from 2 major KYC exchanges is concerning enough that you should go high fidelity with your OpSec. Dealing in XMR is the gold standard for privacy and OpSec.

Thanks for the info about Monero.   Maybe it will be useful for me someday.

As far as I can recall, all I did was do a send transaction from my Coinbase Coinmama accounts and I got banned.   This was a couple years ago.   I haven't had a single problem with Coinzoom sending from my BTC wallet there.   But, going on into the future, I'm going to send to my cold storage Electrum wallet and then do all my vendor transactions from there.   I think vendors these days use unique BTC addresses per order so its harder to flag them.

Tried FixedFloat but I get an error message that says they do not exchange for US customers.  Anyone know of any other good BTC to XMR exchanges?

  2. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: whereas if I use fiat to buy something the money is green anyway. Monero does this really well. Anyway rant over, you can DM me if you'd like to talk more about cryptos.
  3. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I don't really think that people understand the whole point of cryptos in the first place anymore. BTC just won't be adopted by governments because the transactions are too public and what's worse, money that is freshly minted is better than money that has been used. Like if my btc was used for something that was illegal does that mean the money is "poisoned"?
  4. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @xenxra Yeah, Like I said I've never really been that fond of btc, it isn't used as a currency, just as a place for people to invest money in, even though the whole purpose of btc was to be a currency. If it doesn't fulfill that role, what does? Monero certainly does.

  8. D @ dragnetopher: No, I don’t think it. I know it. And it’s not just bitcoin, it’s all crypto. And like I said, they’re selling to acquire liquidity for when countries truly start utilizing what’s been set in place. The USD is under controlled demolition as we speak. This is all part of it.

  10. xenxra @ xenxra: tokenisation is not a plan its already been happening for months, ive been trading this whole move on silver through ethereum
  11. xenxra @ xenxra: you think whales are dumping bitcoin because of something everyone has known about for like 4 years? what does bitcoin liquidity have to do with trading tokenized assets? they don't have pooled liquidity.
  12. D @ dragnetopher: Whales are tanking BTC due to the fact that the future is coming now, literally. There’s a plan to tokenize every single asset possible. This is whales dumping so they can have liquidity for the Springtime.
  13. xenxra @ xenxra: @Gulp2788 this is a terrible spot to buy bitcoin haphazardly because it's going down another $5k -$7k if 80,000 doesn't hold. i told everyone to get the fuck out of bitcoin at $103k. it's better to buy late when the bottom is more certain than throw darts and act like the opposite outcome was unavoidable just because it went down "a lot" and everyone seems to be "freaking out". wait for it to get back over 85k
  14. xenxra @ xenxra: @aarons the last time i said monero was on discount in here it went up 5x in 3 months
  15. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: good opportunity to buy more btc if you are gonna do so imo, me I'm buying the btc to switch into better currencies
