Does “cash app” count as a bitcoin wallet?

So when you transfer BTC from CA to Cake Wallet, you can then convert to XMR and send it directly from Cake wallet? Interesting. I've always wondered how to get xmr with bitcoin. Is this because of the increased privacy features that XMR offers??
Yeah man it's so easy you just make a wallet of each one on cake, then transfer ur btc to ur cake btc wallet, and there is a whole transfer option when you get it there is basically self explanatory its really easy. And xmr is so much better.

We just gotta get all vendors to take xmr...thats all..hahahahaha better world....someday....smokin w one hand the others fingers crossed...ttyl...fckn love this place...4real.

one of my vendors compared sending directly from your CashApp or exchange wallet as making a buy deal in the lobby of your bank. the smarter thing to do is to withdraw to your own private wallet first and then send. that's like going around the corner to do your deal.

It’s been quite a while for me since I’ve messed with crypto and the whole “scene” of it (few years since using tor/darkweb which is only reason I’ve ever had to mess with crypto) )I want to make my donation but after reading the instructions on making a donation it says not to send direct from the exchange where you buy it to the address here but first to your own wallet then to DBG.

Now I’m pretty sure cash app basically acts as it’s own wallet after you purchase coin on there since it stores it for you so I just wanted to make sure that was acceptable before sending from there. I used to use coinbase in my earlier days messing around on tor but found the prices compared to cash app were awful.

Thank you
I use CakeWallet for storing small amounts of coin.

Cake will also convert BTC to XMR for a fee as well just keep in mind, based on its appearance it may not be the safest wallet app but I've been using it for years without issue

Exodus it an exchange also so can’t they f around with you through that as well? I thought only non exchange wallets were not traced. How about RockIt app?
That’s what I was wondering.. I was told buy cashapp then transfer to exodus.. if I can send straight from exodus that’d be dope

Exodus isn’t an exchange it just allows you to buy from 3rd party exchanges. If you’re sending from it though I’d suggest not tying your information to it in the form of using it to collect coin from a 3rd party exchange, but rather send from another exchange(i.e CA) to it, and then send from there.

I would strongly advise against using the same app you purchased BTC with as the one you use for sending BTC. This is bad OpSec, IMO. Transferring out to another non-custodial wallet of your choosing adds another layer of obfuscation, which is never a bad thing.

Exactly. It’s so easy. :) Great advice.

  4. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: whereas if I use fiat to buy something the money is green anyway. Monero does this really well. Anyway rant over, you can DM me if you'd like to talk more about cryptos.
  5. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I don't really think that people understand the whole point of cryptos in the first place anymore. BTC just won't be adopted by governments because the transactions are too public and what's worse, money that is freshly minted is better than money that has been used. Like if my btc was used for something that was illegal does that mean the money is "poisoned"?
  6. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @xenxra Yeah, Like I said I've never really been that fond of btc, it isn't used as a currency, just as a place for people to invest money in, even though the whole purpose of btc was to be a currency. If it doesn't fulfill that role, what does? Monero certainly does.

  10. D @ dragnetopher: No, I don’t think it. I know it. And it’s not just bitcoin, it’s all crypto. And like I said, they’re selling to acquire liquidity for when countries truly start utilizing what’s been set in place. The USD is under controlled demolition as we speak. This is all part of it.

  12. xenxra @ xenxra: tokenisation is not a plan its already been happening for months, ive been trading this whole move on silver through ethereum
  13. xenxra @ xenxra: you think whales are dumping bitcoin because of something everyone has known about for like 4 years? what does bitcoin liquidity have to do with trading tokenized assets? they don't have pooled liquidity.
  14. D @ dragnetopher: Whales are tanking BTC due to the fact that the future is coming now, literally. There’s a plan to tokenize every single asset possible. This is whales dumping so they can have liquidity for the Springtime.
  15. xenxra @ xenxra: @Gulp2788 this is a terrible spot to buy bitcoin haphazardly because it's going down another $5k -$7k if 80,000 doesn't hold. i told everyone to get the fuck out of bitcoin at $103k. it's better to buy late when the bottom is more certain than throw darts and act like the opposite outcome was unavoidable just because it went down "a lot" and everyone seems to be "freaking out". wait for it to get back over 85k
  16. xenxra @ xenxra: @aarons the last time i said monero was on discount in here it went up 5x in 3 months
