The Clown Is Back ! Now Displayed At The Top Right

Does anyone else see PS22's member icon in th supper right, where the shout box should go?

My iPad choked twice in the last 10 minutes and when I logged back into DBG, PS's icon was there.

I took a picture and will post proof soon, I'm not joking, the pic is there on my screen.

 
Wow and somehow I have now ended up with BTOH's icon automatically!

I did not do even have an icon assigned 15 min ago.

Just did the switch to the mobile version and back, without logging out, and now BTOH's icon is gone and so is the clown. Weird.

I have an ipad also and haven't ever seen the clowns. Haha! There must be a glitch somewhere. Very strange, maybe it's Big Brother watching over us.

Hi Sneazel,

I'm gonna take a wild guess here and suggest that this is unique to Tapatalk not the DBG site.  

Is the face (poor ps2556) hot?  I mean, if you press it does it shrink the Shoutbox?

To the right of the face can you press the right-hand corner of the box and x - out the Shoutbox altogether?

Maybe delete the site from Tapatalk altogether and then recreate it and then ps will go away?

Very interesting phenomenon.

Oh, BTW you can take a screen-shot by pressing the power and home buttons at the same time and the picture will end up in your Camera Roll.

I don't use tap talk at all, don't think it's even installed and unfortunately I didn't try clicking on the picture or the shout box so I'm not sure if it was just a redraw/display issue and the shout options still worked, I just let the clown be and he leaves after a mode change. It's funny it's been PS's icon all three times.

I'll have to try the screen cap tip, pressing the power button doesn't turn it off? I'll need to locate the home button too and see if that combo works.

Yes just press the top button and the main button on the front of your iPad at the same time for a pic of your screen.

Thanks again for this tip Dkaramazov, I have used this function a lot to capture receipt information and other stuff.

Until you mentioned this I had to go get on my PC to copy and paste the screen display with a snipping tool and had no idea how to do that on the iPad.

Best IPad tip ever!
