I've calmed down a bit now and have simply accepted the situation for what it is.

I'll just have to let it go for now and hope that by Thursday morning all will be resolved.

Ok, this is the site I cannot get to display...what am I doing wrong?   /default_wub.png
Previously, if one of the vendor websites was down or suspended, it would be the same for another 1 or 2 vendors, since they seem to all share an account or something.

But this time it looks like the account is still up, but there is a configuration issue with the server. Typical Apache error message indicating the DocumentRoot has its permissions set to deny from all.

 
Update from yesterday's issue:

J contacted me first thing this morning to assure me the order was on track for tomorrow's delivery.

I said this a page back, but it's already lost in the shuffle: Calling the courier is a BAD idea, regardless of the color shirts they wear! Calling the actual shipping store is an even worse idea! The LAST thing we want is the courier getting suspicious due to multiple phones calls, and turning it (them) over to LE. Believe me, there are a lot of "store" owners and employees who feel it's their duty to stay above board. To be crass, I'm sure there are plenty of them who would totally get off on turning something over. I'm not being a conspiracy freak; IT HAPPENS!! IT ISN'T FUN!! Please people, be smart. Keep us under the radar.

Trust me, there is power in numbers here at DBG; it's a delay, I know it sucks, but until it's more than that, please be chill and stop calling! When it's time to rip arms off, Jewy will be there for you, I promise :-)

It just melts the old hairy beast's heart when you talk like that love!  /default_biggrin.png  And folks, read and then re-read EVERY word of Frankie's post, because truer words were never spoken. It's critically important to remember that the person on the other end of that phone could well be just as eager to turn your package over to the powers that be as you are to receive it, and that's NOT an exaggeration. If you need to vent or be OCD about a delayed order, then please, come to the board and do so, but don't blow up the courier's customer service number, nor that of any retail location. It WILL arouse suspicion, and again, that's not an exaggeration. Several senior level members have cautioned against this very thing in recent weeks, and I've heard it first hand from a regional management level employee of one of the carriers, so please, take advantage of Frankie's wisdom and remain low key with the couriers, come what may.

a feather to stick in their caps by being the employee that made the " Big Find ".

 
My apologies to all other senior members for giving the impression I was going all ballistic on brown or mail centers. I really wasn't.

This was so uncharacteristic of my experience with J.

I made a couple inquiries as I think anyone would trying to figure out what the heck was happening when a TN was provided and then total silence and zero movement.

All your advice is taken under advisement.

*Update on this week's delivery delay issue:

Received on time this morning. 

All accounted for + 3 extra.

Very generous of J. He's still one of the best IMO.

Unfortunately it was just my turn in the barrel.

We all get a turn, it's the nature of the beast.
