The name I chose to go as on here was Salamandoor. No particular reason, it just came to me, and I have too many aliases to keep up with. I suppose this site is somewhat of a "door" to a world I barely knew existed.
I currently am diagnosed with Gastroparesis which took three years of medical investigation, time and money. My time is very valuable and after wasting countless hours and $15 thousand dollars in medical bills I more or less decided to take the power out of the doctors hands and into my own.
I did this in the past year and I will tell you it has improved my condition immensely. I developed pretty bad anxiety, always had sleeping issues from when I was a child, and I have managed to keep them at a controllable level once I took the doc out of the picture. In the past I thought the doctors knew best. Now I realize docs always had to worry about insurance, lawsuits or DEA agents which restricts their ability to properly treat any ailments I had. Huge factor into why the USA has a terrible healthcare system in my opinion.
I am fortunate enough to be able to afford medicine with out insurance's help - however I still would like to have the best deals possible on medications.
My main focus is finding affordable deals to deal with:
Motility
Insomnia
Anxiety
Hair Loss
Nausea/Pain
Look forward to getting to know everyone - this community thus far seems intelligent, and most importantly of all, not a bunch of junkies who have ruined it for everyone else.
