Mr Hydreaux,

Innovation in business practices seems something that various vendors seem to be either foolishly intimidated by or too "perfect" to embrace.

Hats off to your every present frame of mind, wisdom and honest willingness to reinvent yourself and your services.

From "go" you have set the bar, met the bar, closed the bar... hung out at the bar and then opened another EVEN cooler bar.

Thanks for letting this girl sit at the bar and enjoy a few top shelf drinks.

Looking forward to another round!

Take Care,

Beranda

Cool, variety is nice and a quiet dark peaceful corner sounds better to me then a bright spotlight and all eyes on you.

HM, If you can please put me down for once a month (maybe more maybe less) for my usual. And when my usual is ready again so I am, even if it's tomorrow /default_smile.png.

Thanks for the letter that should arrive today too, you are a top notch, solid, and reliable guy and it's very appreciated.

Have a good week.
Hey SJ, sorry to divert a bit off topic, but after digging through some old posts / threads, including that which featured your "garden", I had a new screen name idea for you, should you ever get bored with the SJ moniker for any reason and desire a change. So, with that said, how does "Baked Beans" strike you?! /default_laugh.png

Haha, Baked Bean Fiend might be the most accurate right now.

But did I mention I'm trying to taper down? Who haven't I pestered yet about that /default_smile.png.

My wife has already labeled/appointed me the most Baked item at any given time even in a busy bakery at 7am on a Saturday.

The Baked Bean name is pretty good and should maybe be pre-reserved for me just in case.

I'm called Baked Berry already by people now, so maybe reserve that one too just in case.

Thanks for the kind words ellessone, I know there's some serious problems in the SY department right now so I have no problem letting them have the spotlight. Actually I'm rather comfortable in my quiet, dark, uneventful corner. Unfortunately I never had a chance to officially reopen I was cleaned out long before the New year. Over the break I actually managed to find a new source but, even with the increased capacity my inventory was no match for the current demand. I've come to realize there's no fair way for my existing customers to place an order so I'm going to be selfish and make a decision based on what's easiest for me. There's a few people I haven't got back to yet and they get first pick on my next restock, after this month there will be a new way of ordering. Beginning February I will only take orders for the first week of every month, any request made before or after will simply be ignored. Once arrangements are made we can set dates for payment and shipping when the products become available. Please plan accordingly and order enough to last for a month. I wish I didn't have to do this but it will make things a lot easier on myself.

With all that being said I'm always networking for more suppliers and I've got some really strong leads and possibly some new products so I anticipate having an open registration some time this year, which leads me to my closing thoughts. All current customers and all members waiting to become one PLEASE read my thread a couple times a week, especially before you order. As previously mentioned I may have some spots open up in a few months but I highly doubt they'll last more than a few days, if that! More importantly PLEASE read before sending funds! Every time I go on break I still receive orders paid in full and I'm not even checking my email, for all you know I could've started scamming and the last ten pages are people claiming to have been ripped off. Obviously I've spent several months earning my reputation but my point is anything can happen. I wouldn't actually scam but I could be sick, out of business, on vacation, dead, abducted by aliens, etc etc just please READ!

All the best ~ Hydreauxman
Thanks for the update I'll be patiently waiting for an opening and paying attention to your posts!

Good evening Mr H.

Just wanted to say hello and have a great nite.....

KK

I think the SY guys need to take a lesson from Hydreauxman's play book.  I just read his Jan 5 post, which  simply explains what's going on, any new changes in op's and possibly some light at the end of the tunnel for new players on the team.  Easy right!?  I am not on Hydreauxman's bench at the moment and don't know if I will ever be considered due to the lack of possible street cred, but I do see why DBG members gravitate to him.

Great job H.  Best vendor communicator on DBG IMO.

There is good and then there is exceptional...

Hydreaux man= exceptional.

Fast too!

It takes a lot of work to provide service this good, I fully appreciate all the time and energy that goes into each and every successful transaction.

Going to have to start leaving my positive feedback in other languages, just to keep it from sounding so repetitive.

I only know so many synonyms for:

super

fantastic and

outstanding!

Thank you HM,

Beranda

I have to say that in the years I've been a member of DBG, I can't remember a thread with as much positive feedback as this one. And after reading the professionalism in Hydreauxman's posts, to say I'm impressed would be putting it mildly.

HM, I know your line is long and the time frame to entry is uncertain, but after spending the last hour reading this thread, I'd be a fool not ask to join in (even if I am bringing up the rear, sleeping bag in hand). Please consider adding me whenever you have the space. Best of luck to you and thank you for treating DBG's members with such respect.

Awww... thanks my brother. I see your nose is still bothering you though. Gotta get that fixed H!

In all seriousness, even if I wasn't interested in HMs party I would still feel the need to post, thanking him for his apparent professionalism, honesty and transparency towards the members here. That's all many have wanted for years - including several long ones on the old DB forum /default_angry.png  - and it's wonderful to see other respected members of this site finally reaping the rewards of dealing with someone cut from that cloth.

My first thought is "Oh No, Less for Me!" but I gave you a green too for being helpful to a newbie even after my posts.

  4. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢

  6. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: Yeah Robert Duvall passing is a hard one. RIP
  7. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Damn. Just heard Robert Duvall passed away Sunday. That’s a tough one. He’s one of my favorite actors. From Lonesome Dove to the Godfather and many others. We will miss you Mr Duvall. You entertained us for 7 decades. RIP
  8. L @ Layne_Cobain: @ClintEastwood make a post about it homie they’re gonna take down your message here cuz shout box isn’t really for talking shop just random shooting the shit exc but yeh just put your message in a post on the forum in the appropriate place and ppl will get at you! 👊 ✌️
  9. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Just wondering if anyone well trusted has a supply of research thienos or benz in powders for good average prices? Or could give a shout out from me to him? Or the best lowest per each? I’ve seen some cool and some i just know are worth it. Good price rv presses too but it is much more bang for your buck. I have one good vendor. But am looking for variety’s well. Send me a message or reply if you think any. Thanks - CLINT E. Any Heavy stuff too which all seem about the ssmmmmmm
  10. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I always thought I should’ve been born in a much earlier time but I will say, i do enjoy my Xbox and occasional TV series tho 😂
  11. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I just wish the opioid epidemic never happened. Fk the turn of the century (which would be cool no doubt)! Many of my friends and family would’ve ended up in asylums like so many others. I just wish I could get back all those I’ve lost since the start
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: 1914 I meant
  13. L @ Layne_Cobain: I often wish I lived during the turn of the century or at least before the Harrison narcotics act or whatever I think it was 1924 the fun ended but anyway yeh being able to get laudanum, ❄️ and amphetamine at the local friendly pharmacy
  14. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Chew on the leaves with a bit of slaked lime and enjoy the mild boost you get from the raw base.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I’m sure you know the folks in the mountainous regions along South Americas pacific side buy cócà leaves at the local farmers market just to help acclimate to the higher elevation when they have to head up into the hills.
  16. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I would certainly have bought it, swilled it, enjoyed it…. Why not? A little boost in your juice isn’t going to hurt anyone.
  17. R @ Royboy99: Exports were reported to have around 7.2mg per FL OZ, it’s success is what actually led to Coca Cola
  18. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Having cramps and husband thinks you’re acting hysterical (ie. PMS) the doc would either perform a certain massage to relieve the strains of motherhood and family life of that time or send you down to the local apothecary for a bottle of laudanum… A tincture of alcohol and 10% òpìųm. Fun days huh?
  19. R @ Royboy99: @malestrom: yeah thats it, my bad Mariani, yeah i considered that and also its ROA, which was oral so the bioavailability was lower than insufflation, higher degree of purity tho and longer duration … there was a significant marked increase of patents filed by Edison during the time it was released in the US. Presidents were known to use it as well, and the Queen. The pope awarded the wine the Vatican gold medal award
  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
