Hi,

I have always wondered what matters to members on this site the most.   I know this site is a drug buyers guide but what really matters to you the most?

For me, I like waking up early in the morning and driving  on along the coast.  I used to think that working long hours, making lots of money and having a BMW would be it but as time went by I realized that just taking a drive along the coast and watching the sunrise or watching the sunset is much more enjoyable.

Hi Slammer,

Yes it should be that simple but as you know life can get very complicated.

Rehoming an unwanted bunny rabbit in two days matters to me a lot right now. =)

As well as the obvious matters that belonging to this forum implies. yup.

Hi Smoka90,

That's very noble of you to "rehome" an unwanted rabbit. I used to own a couple rabbits.  They where really difficult  to train, unlike dogs or cats; good luck.

Yeah, most of us are here for the "obvious reason"; good luck with that too.

My family matters most to me. Without someone to share you're life with would make life much more difficult . I just spent a week with my family of first cousins & it makes you realize how much family means.

Agreed. But sadly mentioning anything about family and how much they mean to you, in my case it would be a "target" for a few bad apples out there. Be careful about that too. You'd be surprised what lengths some go to which have irrational grievances towards ya.

I do have a great family but I do know that is not always the case. I worked as a phychiatric nurse so I do understand that. I guess that's why it matters so much to me.

FAMILY full STOP.  I realise that some people are not as lucky as others when it comes to Families but if youve got one  and your on terms with them even if it aint great its worth trying because to me they are the ONLY people i know who TRULY have my back 24/7.

2nd Friends as you get older you realise who they really are and which ones matter and count.

If youve got both of the above count yourself lucky in this life i say.

Hi nickiean and Auprineeta,

You guy's/gals really know your stuff and have it altogether!!!  I would only add to that good health.

I once had what you guys had but sadly it's a thing of the past and like the old saying goes, " you don't know what you have missed until you don't have it anymore".

I wasn't 100% truthful when I described what mattered to me most.  To be honest nowadays everything matters to me the most.

1212 you are so right

about health. If we don't have that we can't enjoy doing anything. I think honesty is a must. Trust goes a long way with me .i once almost lost everything important to me yo a coke habit . I had to earn trust back from all my friends & family. It took awhile but it has been the one thing that I worked the hardest on. My life is completely different because of it . I don't regret it because it has made me a better person .

@unknown1212....Yes, totally with you on that one. "Health" is certainly something which should matter to us all, very much. For without it, we have nothing.

Great point.

Hi nickiean and Slammer,

As you guys know, there's really no one right answer.  It's all relative to each individual person.  For example, for a person that is health and has a good family it will probably be financial security, money.  For someone starting in their carrier it would probably find a good job and achieve greatness/success.

Either way thanks for the input, it helps me to better understand you guys.

By the way nickiean, I commend you for kicking the coke habit.  It really shows the quality of your character.

Thanks 1212 it was not easy. But it did make me the person I am today. I can't regret it for that reason. I live my amends to my family & friends.

Family, and my furr babies. Without these two elements I KNOW I would not be here to tell you this. I have a feeling of being needed. Something as simple as my two cats and my dog CHOOSING to come for a walk in the bush with me, fills me with happiness! Knowing they choose to walk with me. Silly, I know, but it us my fullfillment.

Hi mariedarr,

Yes I know what you mean.  I think it's really knowing that someone needs and depends on you that help.  Also that they appreciate you as well.  All that combine makes for what you are talking about. So for you it's family and Furr babies but I am think you mean someone that needs you, wants to be with you and appreciates you for who you are.

Hi Headbanger,

Your two first choices are always good.  Of course, I myself like heavy metal a lot.  I tend not to enjoy listening to the hair bands of the 80's.  I prefer Metallica or Judas Priest.  But my all time favorite has to be Queensryche, especially the album Operation Mind Crime.  To this day I sometimes find my self listening to it, maybe about one every couple of months.

unknown1212

unknown, I forgive you for not liking the hair metal. I do but not the cheesy stuff like Poison. More like Ratt, Motley, Whitesnake...

I'm probably a 70's hard and southern rocker as much as headbanger. Nothing beats Zep, Aerosmith, Sabbath, AC/DC, Allmans, Skynyrd, Deep Purple, KISS(yes KISS, I ain't embarrassed), Van Halen..

.

I like Classic rock too - Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull...

I like a lot of everything but the hard rock and Heavy Metal is my fav,

Anything but Air Supply.

  1. S @ soupson: did anyone ask about real id or is sweet ol jimmy just rambling
  2. T @ Turbo259: @drjimmy1964 what did you mean by advertise? not gettin the verbiage, DM works if anything, just didnt understand
  3. B @ bigblueallda: {Visit your local Driver Service Bureau with the necessary documents: original birth certificate, Social Security card, and two proofs of your state's residency. } I definitely provided this when I had to get a new ID when i let mine go expired too long maybe I unknowingly got one but I think it is pretty standard here.
  4. B @ bigblueallda: Well it was a state id renewal. Before that there was a mixup and I had lost my birth certficate and social security number. After a couple of weeks and finally getting several documents in order I was able to get a state ID. It had been expired previously for a little too long and they wanted all kinds of proof. It was a mess. But nah I looked up what to look for an my state's ID to see if it is a Real Id or not and my card as the symbol it is supposed to have. I'll take a closer look though
  5. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda are you sure you have a Real ID ? I mean , they really want 6 points of proof and 1 for your addy and 1 for your SSN. Did you maybe get it done and forgot and flew out of the country or something ?
  6. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Actually it says "Not For Real ID Purposes". That is my 2022 renewal of my 2018 picture ID. I am not due till 2026 and I am sure they will make me go in since my pic would be 8 years old - they used to make you go in in my state for aging when I was younger, then went paper - then back to picture ( I think 9/11 to blame for that ) but relaxed it.
  7. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Wow, for real ? You renewed your DL and without you knowing or having to present documents in person, they did it online? It has the star on top right and says "Rea: ID" Mine says ' NOT A Real ID" . I never knew what a Real ID was and never bothered to ask - I think I somehow was under the impression that it was for either military / gov't workers who had to travel over seas. WRONG lol.
  8. B @ bigblueallda: I already have one and didn't even realize it. I renewed my ID online about 6 months ago and I just looked at it today and it is a Real ID.
  9. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @Turbo259 mine was duped , too. Not sure why or how my msg. duped. IMO that guy if serious and smart wouldn’t advertise with you
  10. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: I wish I had it when I flew to Vegas in 2022. The TSA line for Real ID passengers was short. Now it’s probably going to be crazy .
  11. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Has everyone got their Real ID ? I think tomorrow’s the deadline yet just now an agent from AAA (I believe ) was on local news saying you can still get it past May 7.. Required for domestic flights.
  12. T @ Turbo259: sorry for the dupe message
  13. T @ Turbo259: Hey fam,, question for the masses, a vendor not from this forum lost a payment method and is blaming me for it, i have confirmed i havent done anything and even said i was willing to send the $ that was sent back to me to make good, they are being threatening a lil like its my fault to fix, any advice, dm me if easier, but curious as i did nothin wrong and kinda dont know what to do now, not lookin for issues from this person
