Hi,

I have always wondered what matters to members on this site the most.   I know this site is a drug buyers guide but what really matters to you the most?

For me, I like waking up early in the morning and driving  on along the coast.  I used to think that working long hours, making lots of money and having a BMW would be it but as time went by I realized that just taking a drive along the coast and watching the sunrise or watching the sunset is much more enjoyable.

Hi Slammer,

Yes it should be that simple but as you know life can get very complicated.

Rehoming an unwanted bunny rabbit in two days matters to me a lot right now. =)

As well as the obvious matters that belonging to this forum implies. yup.

Hi Smoka90,

That's very noble of you to "rehome" an unwanted rabbit. I used to own a couple rabbits.  They where really difficult  to train, unlike dogs or cats; good luck.

Yeah, most of us are here for the "obvious reason"; good luck with that too.

My family matters most to me. Without someone to share you're life with would make life much more difficult . I just spent a week with my family of first cousins & it makes you realize how much family means.

Agreed. But sadly mentioning anything about family and how much they mean to you, in my case it would be a "target" for a few bad apples out there. Be careful about that too. You'd be surprised what lengths some go to which have irrational grievances towards ya.

I do have a great family but I do know that is not always the case. I worked as a phychiatric nurse so I do understand that. I guess that's why it matters so much to me.

FAMILY full STOP.  I realise that some people are not as lucky as others when it comes to Families but if youve got one  and your on terms with them even if it aint great its worth trying because to me they are the ONLY people i know who TRULY have my back 24/7.

2nd Friends as you get older you realise who they really are and which ones matter and count.

If youve got both of the above count yourself lucky in this life i say.

Hi nickiean and Auprineeta,

You guy's/gals really know your stuff and have it altogether!!!  I would only add to that good health.

I once had what you guys had but sadly it's a thing of the past and like the old saying goes, " you don't know what you have missed until you don't have it anymore".

I wasn't 100% truthful when I described what mattered to me most.  To be honest nowadays everything matters to me the most.

1212 you are so right

about health. If we don't have that we can't enjoy doing anything. I think honesty is a must. Trust goes a long way with me .i once almost lost everything important to me yo a coke habit . I had to earn trust back from all my friends & family. It took awhile but it has been the one thing that I worked the hardest on. My life is completely different because of it . I don't regret it because it has made me a better person .

@unknown1212....Yes, totally with you on that one. "Health" is certainly something which should matter to us all, very much. For without it, we have nothing.

Great point.

Hi nickiean and Slammer,

As you guys know, there's really no one right answer.  It's all relative to each individual person.  For example, for a person that is health and has a good family it will probably be financial security, money.  For someone starting in their carrier it would probably find a good job and achieve greatness/success.

Either way thanks for the input, it helps me to better understand you guys.

By the way nickiean, I commend you for kicking the coke habit.  It really shows the quality of your character.

Thanks 1212 it was not easy. But it did make me the person I am today. I can't regret it for that reason. I live my amends to my family & friends.

Family, and my furr babies. Without these two elements I KNOW I would not be here to tell you this. I have a feeling of being needed. Something as simple as my two cats and my dog CHOOSING to come for a walk in the bush with me, fills me with happiness! Knowing they choose to walk with me. Silly, I know, but it us my fullfillment.

Hi mariedarr,

Yes I know what you mean.  I think it's really knowing that someone needs and depends on you that help.  Also that they appreciate you as well.  All that combine makes for what you are talking about. So for you it's family and Furr babies but I am think you mean someone that needs you, wants to be with you and appreciates you for who you are.

Hi Headbanger,

Your two first choices are always good.  Of course, I myself like heavy metal a lot.  I tend not to enjoy listening to the hair bands of the 80's.  I prefer Metallica or Judas Priest.  But my all time favorite has to be Queensryche, especially the album Operation Mind Crime.  To this day I sometimes find my self listening to it, maybe about one every couple of months.

unknown1212

unknown, I forgive you for not liking the hair metal. I do but not the cheesy stuff like Poison. More like Ratt, Motley, Whitesnake...

I'm probably a 70's hard and southern rocker as much as headbanger. Nothing beats Zep, Aerosmith, Sabbath, AC/DC, Allmans, Skynyrd, Deep Purple, KISS(yes KISS, I ain't embarrassed), Van Halen..

.

I like Classic rock too - Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull...

I like a lot of everything but the hard rock and Heavy Metal is my fav,

Anything but Air Supply.

Been a very sad few days but 2 complete (irl anyway) strangers cared enough about what I was going through to talk to me about it, though they owe me nothing and have no reason to help my personal pain other than the kindness in their own hearts. Just shows that this place is a real community, not just a forum of people who only care about themselves.
  20. LW815 @ LW815: Was nodding in/out the entire time writing those shouts and spparently was fully out sending the last one lol.
