So i usually take my kpins and just swallow them and they work just fine. Today i decided to take them siblingually and ot seems they work even better and faster onset! I didnt know that. I guess i have been nieve. Is the bioavailability stronger sublingual?

I think so!!! I take the Activis brand and they just instantly dissolve under your tounge!

Is this just kpins..or all benzos?
I think any of them will work sublingualy. The vein on the bottom of your tongue is supposedly one of the biggest in your body. It seems like I read that somewhere, but could be wrong. Thats how I take my suboxen and sometimes I will throw a xan and klon under there too and they all just dissole together and hit me pretty quick.

What is the typical dosing for this med? Like, how many mgs would a person generally take at one time and the how many hours in between dosing? Thanks.

That all depends on YOU. Im no doctor and cant give dose/medical advice. But everyone is different when it comes down to the question on meds for medicinal or recreational use...i just know mine. You will have to research that for yourself. And be responsible.

I'm a lightweight here and usually take 0.25-0.5mg at a time 0-2x a day. Less is better so you don't build a tolerance. I take mine to deal with anxiety.

Use em for both, and sublinguily is great becuase they taste like bananas. Careful tho, kpins are one helluva a detox!! Weeks of hell and zero sleep. Just went thru that joyous experience, had to get some vals and use those to taper. Sorry to be a downer, just be careful on these, they are high on the shitlist to kick.

Yea, I was supposed to be receiving an order for 150 of the Roche 2mg KpinZ but my order got mixed up and I was sent xanax which I cant take because of my Suboxone Dr. He piss test me and Im only allowed KpinZ and subz in system. Im trying now to return the Alp and get the Klons because im completely out for 3 weeks because I helped a friend out who was out of hers because I thought my package of kpinz was about to arrive.:(

Thats intersting .... my doc refused to put me on subs becuase kpins were in my system. I figured they were weary to prescribe subs with anyways kind of b3nzo in the system.... wtf was up with my doc!? Intersting news, thx for that.

Most benzo's can be taken sublingually. The effects come on quicker than just swallowing it immediately, but they generally won't last as long. Also, ativan and most roche rivitrol seem to dissolve right when they get wet whereas Alp usually takes longer.

Does anyone use kpins as a mood stabalizer or just for anxiety?
I use them for both.

I have years of experience with subs and EVERY other opioid maintenence technique. My various Sub doctors always gave me K-pins. I mean honestly a Sub doctor would have to be an idiot to deny benzo's to one of their patients. Patients at sub clinics are generally severe opiate addicts that have/had been using for months to decade. Sure they have bupe from the subs to help with cravin and such, but it doesn't do much for anxiety, depression, and the many other disorders brought on by years of opiate use. Someone trying to recover from an opiate addiction will be much more likely to stick to their maintenence program if they take benzo's in non-abuseable doses to cope with all the stress while they begin to develop actual healthy coping habits to replace the medications. I have a lot more to say about this lol, but this is the wrong forum thread for all of that so I will continue my discussion in the appropriate section.

To my knowledge, they all work better sublingually. I haven't been able to notice a big enough difference to warrant letting them dissolve. Especially since I take xanax primarily. They taste so terrible.

2mg is the equivalent I believe, according to Dr Ashtons table. I recently switched over, but it took a few days to build up for me. I completely stopped the alpzzz, but it may be better to split your doses gradually from one to the other. Let us know how you get on if you go ahead though.

The sub lingual thing is thing is psychological.  If sub lingual application worked so would sniffing them up your nose, which we all know does not work.  The pill simply dissolves and ends up getting swallowed.  Most benzos are not water soluble therefore still in particulate form when the pill dissolves and not able to cross a mucous membrane into the blood stream.  I know you're all going to jump my shit about contradicting you, but it is simple logic.  If it won't go into solution how is it crossing directly into the blood stream?

I will agree that the taste will generate placebo affect and result in a physiological response as your body starts reacting to what it knows is about to happen, but that is all.

The sublingual route maybe all in your head but there are lots of reseptors under your tongue but it could be a myth??

Peace

Bliss.....

I may not know what I'm talking about, but I agree that few benzos are water soluble. But I was under the impression that a few are lipid soluble, so under the tongue is a viable option. Hell, I've even had a doctor tell me to hold klon under my tongue and against my gums for panic attacks. But as Homer Simpson wisely said, "blue m&m, green m&m, they all end up brown in the end."

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote

  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
