MY messaging has been disabled

I just wanted to check with the moderators as to why my messaging is disabled. Bit of a nervous fellow here. Not sure if it's down for everyone or just for me. Also wondering what exactly would cause this.

Yes it is. You cannot PM unapproved (by our forum) vendors to people.  I have asked you repeatedly to read the rules and also a thread entitled "helpful quoted info for new members".  You need to do this ASAP.  Your continued membership depends on it.  You have been running around breaking rule after rule.  Please read the sections before posting anything further.

Okay well I'm sorry, I didn't mean to break any rules. I have just been trying to be helpful to people that share my issues. I am no dishonest and I am only here to be helpful and be a productive member of the community. I am sorry if I have made some mistakes, but know it is only because I have been excited to help.

I think we should all go back and reread the rules just as a refresher.

No, I cannot.  Admin will let us know when it is okay.  Trust me, after trying to promote an unapproved vendor using the PM system, you are EXTREMELY lucky you have not been permanently banned.  Extremely lucky.  That is the number ONE way people get scammed here.  We take forum and member safety VERY seriously, and for good reason.  You are not going to be able to PM for awhile.

absolutely.  It is just so important that we all stay as safe as possible, and protect all of the very valuable information from possibly being removed from the internet.
