I see that this crew's new site, as referenced in my last post, was set up, ironically, on 9/11/12 with a Chinese registrar. This attempt at being cute and evasive doesn't fly, since they chose to host with a US based host called Trill Hosting. Power is in numbers folks, so the more who report the site as abusive and as being in violation of their terms of service (which it is), the better the chances of getting them shut down by the host. Of course, this is a never ending battle, as they pick up and move on to another, but it's the only way to fight this type of fight, and the hope is that if they get the boot often enough, someone with the acronyms will eventually take notice and action.

Just FYI...

Yeah thanks Jewbacca. It does suck to be taken by those scammers but its happened to a lot of us and It's part of the game. The best thing to do is to keep people on this forum aware of scams like this and you guys are doing a great job of that at the moment. Yeah, they spend a lot of time making sure there scam looks legit. The whole forums looks a little dodgy to be honest. The posts are all bullshit. Not one negative comment... AT ALL!! You cant even register as a member, the moderator and all the sellers are the same people, and like you said, the whole deposit system is just a load of bullshit. Long story short.. be careful people. Use this forum to your advantage and all the best.

Yeah, that's the whole foundation of the con. To appear as a legitimate forum. It's the online version of an old fashioned confidence game. So, you aren't going to see any negative comments. When they were operating as oxycontinforum, they allowed registrations, but any and all even remotely negative comments were deleted immediately and the member banned. And yes, the admin / mod and the sellers are the same people. In fact, from my research, it's a total of 4 people, one of which is the main guy behind it, who's a Wall Street type who launders the money through his brokerage house. And yeah big fella, if you're reading this, people know where you are, and Jewy doesn't play when it comes to ripping off people in pain. If I were this guy, I'd drop this new site like it's hot and get out of the game, because he's on borrowed time. You can bank on that. Anyway, there's also no deposit system. There's one guy who runs the site, his girlfriend fronts on Topix, another guy handles receipt of payments and then forwards the money to the boss in New York. That's the extent of it. Nothing more, nothing less, no product, no intent to sell anything. The worst part is that LE has no interest in it, because no contraband is actually being sold, and to get the Feds interested as a fraud case would require it being in the tens of millions of dollars, so it's too small in that regard. At the end of the day, con artists like this are allowed to run rampant online, totally unchecked. At least until they screw the wrong people.

Last I heard, from a reliable buddy of mine in NY, some big time thugs, not exactly friends of mine, found out they're exact whereabouts and sweet revenge is on it's way.

Should be able to read about it in the newspapers soon.

Karma, eh!

Indeed Slammer. Proving yet again that no matter how clever you think you are, eventually you're going to "out kick your coverage", to borrow a football saying. If I were those responsible, I'd be sleeping with one eye open. Karma can be a very rude house guest.

I feel compelled to add to this. They have a multitude of names the most recent two I saw were TMZ.boards, exactly like the logo of the hollywood gossip machine of the same name. Silkroaddrugs, as was mentioned, the older ones being pilltraders, drugbuyers forum, buyroxi. some of the other distinguishing features are a prevalence of Vbulletin forum software, contrived postings, the obligatory "vendor deposit" and the URL changed and shortened with google or tiny url. The one I saw most recently was discountmeds, which popped up today. They are all the same group and I have found their operation to be quite extensive. They are entrenched and quite glib about what they're doing knowing that desperation will continue to fill their coffers. I would love any information anyone has gathered, because I am very unhappy with them.

I am very happy to see that these guys are on the BlackList. Oxycontinforums.com took me for over $500! And I am not ashamed to admit it. It was my first time attempting this over the web, and got ripped hard. $500 is quite a chunk of change where I come from. Anyway, I knew it was a gamble when I went for it. Just sucks to lose that much dough on one bet! I am a firm believer that justice will be served for these sorry excuses for human garbage. Just wanted to pit my 2 cents worth in about this bogus scam! Especially since that's all I have left after getting ripped off by these *&&$#* $*%-&+!:'"!!!

A couple friends of mine have had successful transactions through a couple different sellers on that site. So seeing this on the Blacklisted section was surprising for me to see. Has anyone here had bad experiences with sellers there? Or is their bad reputation through word of mouth?
No disrespect intended, CM Punk but I find it very difficult to believe that ANYONE has had a "successful" transaction with any "seller" from this site. Unless they're definition of "successful transaction" means having your money taken with nothing given in return. I have PERSONALLY had a very bad experience with this site. The "sellers" on this site are probably the same person(s) that run this scam! I've already made one post on this topic, and I don't mean to kick at a dead horse. Just felt compelled to reply to this particular comment, which I must have overlooked while first reading through this topic. Oxycontinforums.com is nothing but a scam! No if's, and's, or but's! Like I said before, this post is based on 100% personal experience and NOT word of mouth. FYI... Oxycontinforums.com IS A SCAM! That is all.

These fucker got me for A LOT /default_sad.png( I think the new site is silkroaddrugs.com. The seller dan80s@gmail.com is supposedly the top verified seller on their site, but its all a scam. Cant believe I fell for it.
I can't believe I fell for it either! Like someone said in an earlier post, the fact that this site advertises a $500 "refund" if anything should go wrong, should've told me it was a scam right off the bat!  I can only hope that these posts help someone/anyone in the future, keep from getting ripped off! I hate to admit, but I really wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy! Especially those of us who depend on certain types of medication to maintain daily life without excrutiating pain blurring our vision.

Man this is another place that continues to get people. People will get scammed from there then head to topix and unfortunately get scammed there also. After that they usually tend to smarten up and do a lot of research. Not all of them I must say.
