Canada Post started the strike at 12:01 Friday morning. Service will be disrupted with slow downs and stoppages. I read about what they are asking for and it’s just crazy what the workers want. They are asking for way too much. Example.. 10 sick days instead of 7. I have over 30 years where I work and we get NO sick days. They want 21% raises over 6 years?? WTF is that. People get 10% if they are lucky. This will be a long strike.

It definitely sucks they are on strike. I hope the government tells them to go back to work. I had a package I should have received but it doesn’t look like I will get it. The good news is that once this strike ends, they will reship my package to me. It’s still a pain in the ass that they are on strike but everything will work itself out. Good luck to everyone.

What are vendors doing about the strike in Canada right now ? Canada Post has been on strike since last Friday. You can’t use Canada Post for shipping. Are you going to use other companies to ship here ? Like FedEx or USPS or Purolator? You can’t use Express post from Canada Post as they on Strike. So will you be shipping to Canada.

Us can not ship to canada as of today due to the strike.
Ya the strike has been going on for over 2 weeks now. No packages or letters. Hopefully they will go back to work soon. It sucks cause it’s too hard getting anything here. Even by using FedEx or UPS you have trouble shipping it. I haven’t heard of 1 person in Canada that has received anything since the strike.

I hope they get whatever they feel they are owed/earned Strikes are usually helpful to the workers in teh end.

okay. And then what? You think the…Canadian government (of all entities) is gonna play strikebreaker? 😂

The right to engage in this is most likely in your bylaws or constitutional equivalent clearly and they’re (rightfully) utilizing it.

will still be there once they reach a collective bargaining agreement and get compensated fairly for the services they’re providing. I know you’ve acknowledged that so I’m not putting YOU specifically on blast but speaking in more general terms: That’s a lot more important factors at stake than your couple strips of xanax or mdma pills

I don’t even live in Canada. I hope to shit they stay shut down as long as it humanly takes for them to reach a consensus just like I’d say exactly the same if it was.

Vendor, user, combo of both I don’t care lol. Find some other way to manage cause this is a lot more important than you having a proxy for your narcotics deliveries. 😂

You always always always stand with your fellow worker cause I seriously doubt very many people on this site are affluent enough to be able to get by with passive income alone and not have to rely on a paycheck of some sort
Let me tell you something vastdrink , WTF are you talking about pills for. ? Are you nuts dude. As for all the other shit you said about stand with your brothers, you have no idea what I did for 36 years working with unions. Maybe you should just worry about what happens in the US. Don’t worry about Canada, we are just fine. Maybe you should worry about the hell you will be going through with Trump as your leader. Take care my friend 🤟🇨🇦

Customers fault. Serves you guys right

Maybe you should have tipped them 20%. Hand delivered. Ready in the mailbox

Dude please do me a favour and don’t respond to me. I’m sure you have other ways drawing attention to yourself. I’m sure you can be more mature and just do your own thing. Thanks. 👍

I honestly don’t know who can ship to Canada right now. You would think all they need to do is use a different courier and ship it to us. I have not heard of anyone who will use these sources to get packages to us. I’m waiting to hear back from someone to let me know. Hopefully someone will step up and use UPS or whoever they can just to make the shipment.

  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Steviejay88 if there's one major takeaway i've gained from all the indictments against onion farmers it's that you should never rely on server-side encryption for these kinds of things. please refer to hansa as a case example.

  15. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: @Aarfgh i didn’t think so. Thanks! There maybe should be a warning or something tho because the way it says protected DMs is kind of misleading
  16. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 Xenforo does not natively support encrypted DMs.
  17. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: Are the DMs here encrypted anyone know?
  18. xenxra @ xenxra: it's not so much about the merit it went up or down x percent in y time moreso just where it's at in relation to broader market structure
