2cb has been around since 74 and was scheduled in the us in 95 before rc scene really started. It is only available illicitly and mainly in europe. It has been increasing in popularity. It is somewhere between mdma and a shorter duration lsd, it combines well with mdma and is one of my favorite drugs. It also is good for sex, unlike mdma it is possible for men to achieve orgasm and it is awesome. At one point it was sold in the 5mg range for sexual enhancement due to this effect. 20-30mg is a more trippy dose.

2cb-fly is an RC substitute with heavier body load and generally agreed to not be so good. Available also from the eu by one of the approved vendors here. 

There is a whole class of 2c drugs made by modification of the mescaline molecule by shulgin

That's exactly why I want 2cb! Love me some MDMA adventures and heard about 2cb but haven't ever ran into it. PM me if you got any pointers!

This is true that the vast majority of people prefer 2cb.  However, everybody is different, and I have a preference for the fly.  2cb makes me jittery and impatient, I don't enjoy it without some drinks to settle my nerves.  Leaves this residual feeling for a few days afterwards too.  Not enough visuals either in my opinion.  fly on the other hand gave me a sense of well-being that resembled MDMA more so than 2cb.  Even less visuals though.  Fly lasted sooo long, which can be good or bad.  So, to each their own, but yes, the general consensus is that 2cb is better amongst others.
