Probably because you're doing it to multiple vendors who have already given out samples and wrapped up the process , or are already established.

Only time I ever mention samples is if it's a brand new vendor, right when the thread about them gets started. Or if someone is directly offering them. And any time I've ever been given one, I make sure to follow up by promptly posting an honest review within 1-2 days of testing.

Otherwise, it's a bad look to just blindly go begging for them.

But the only times that I ask about them are if a vendor is just starting out, and are trying to get established here. Or if they are directly offering them.
There's a difference between that...And going into a thread, 5 pages in..or after they've already sent samples and people done reviews. Or if they're already established and sending out orders.

Settle down... I'm not trying to attack you. You made this post.. So I was just trying to give you some insight.

It's not about the frequency... It's more about the timing.

Man, this is an extreme reaction to a fairly benign situation.

It might be wise to examine why you chose to escalate this way instead of just course-correcting.

Getting this worked up over minor internet drama is not healthy.

But his timing was right. Yours was late. That's all, nothing special. Always check the few or 5 pages of a thread before you post asking for a sample to see where the sample situation is at. If reviews are already coming in it's probably too late.

What I do if I want to know when something new comes in is Watch the thread/Forum and that way find the interesting posts/threads early on.

Like, you'd probably need to tap the Watch button, then the dropdown (button, upper right of the posts, left of the shoutbox, in Firefox on desktop) on the appropriate forum.

Why are you getting so worked up about this? I said I wasn't trying to give you shit, just explaining the situation.
Yet you still don't seem to get it.

I told you...its not about the frequency. It's about the timing of when it's done. There's a time and a place for everything.

Yes I ask for samples. And I always reciprocate with a review. I've been doing this shit for more than 20 years now, and I've always tried to dedicate a portion of my time to verifying sources and spotting scams.
