Uuuuhhhg I know im not the only one. I hardly take them....but I need a good two mg to do the trick wen my heart is punding or when I get that horrible "somthing bad is going to happen" feeling of doom. I guess im just trying to be nosey and find out what works for ya'll. This is getting my mind off of my shitty day and on to hot topics with all you awsome peeps on hereB)

 
I have that problem (though at1vans) too. Mine has nothing to do with tolerance either. My anxiety just doesn't respond to them well. I'll take one, then another....then just give up. I'm pretty sure I could OD before I'd get calm. It sucks. Most of the time I don't even bother. On really bad days I'll take it but really I'm mostly hoping for a placebo effect.

 
S'pose it depends on your tolerance really?... However, 2 mg doesn't really touch the sides with me either?....

But like Pixie said, everyone's different and some people find less potent benz@'s more effective?...

I have an unfortunately high tolerance for most of them except for temaz3p@m & strangely enough Nitra3ep@m...

However, 4mg of x@n@x and I'm well into banging into things territory?

That sucks bad /default_sad.png have you tried any others that worked for you?

 
I've tried x@ns & v@ls and they did less than the @ts. Thank god for kratom.

You use Kratom with your benzos to potentate?  I have 4g of ground leaf and was considering taking it with a few Vs, does it work well?  Last time I tried it with Grandaxin (a non recreational bzp) and it was so so, but I wasn't really sure what to expect.  It isn't bad mixed with yogurt though.

And yeah tolerance sucks, I hear people getting fucked off of 2 valium or a bar and I'm like "I remember those days" as I gulp down 50mg with a beer and don't even get sleepy.

Hey Pokey Pokey! I have not taken x@nz in over a year and a half...ok small white lie (because there is a point to my post). I took a 1 //g a few months ago, after a year and a few months off, and it kicked my ass. It was farmy fresh from my buddy (don't know if that means anything) but I noticed the time off really helped. I don't take them anymore because I like to be awake, working a lot of 12hr days and 6 days a week.

P.S. Instead of a kitty on my lap I have a dachshund /default_smile.png

 
I hope it's just a short ban. She really needs the support of this forum.

2mg of zan is what i take now and is not getting the same job done anymore. My zan tolerance is now getting noticably higher than it used to be when i was first prescribed it 2 years ago. I was started out with 2mg xanax and went down to as low as .5mg and back up to 2mg and also i had been on 2mg clonazepam for two months in the summer until my doctor switched me back to 2mg zan because i told him that i felt that it acted faster and it worked better for me. Now i have been taking this dose of 2mg now for 6 months straight and i have been wondering if a different benzo would be of more help to me. I know in the event of a serious attack i need take 6mg zan now to be able to calm me down and also last long enough that i will stay calmed. Also i dont feel the woozy or sleepy feelings that some people feel with taking much less. Xanax is good but there must be something that reacts faster and longer or both?.

 
Just so hard because those of us with panic and anxiety need benzos. We may always need them. If we had cancer, we would receive endless treatment. I hate that we are treated like criminals for taking matters into our own hands. Sure, some people abuse benzos, but so many of us don't. I don't wish this upon anyone. I appreciate the help and support from everyone! Keep the faith!
