i cant personally vouch for this author as I’ve never subscribed but this time of year + the loss of many big names in the last 2 months or so, not just on this board but elsewhere as well, left a pretty large void to fill. From what I’ve heard A has been active for a good while and while known likely didn’t attract as much v0Iume due to (now defunct) very competitive authors. Less competition = less options for the book collectors = higher subscription rates to the ones available to the people who don’t care or know how/where to find others. That paired with people’s tendency to act like the apocalypse is nigh during holiday seasons can cause backup/delays if they don’t have a decent(or decent sized) team of co-writers to help pump books out.

Many people on here don’t actually own their own library and never have to handle a book themselves, they just from larger groups of libraries - which IMO creates a false sense of a ‘standard’ held against those that actually operate their own library. A single place that has the physical copies of their books can’t handle as many subscribers efficiently as somebody who takes your scholastic bookclub subscription list and forwards it to a library holder, and if that one happens to be behind they can often contact yet another and another to continually hit rapid fuIfiIIment and subscribers .

Also bear in mind that it’s almost Christmas and most people spend a lot of time with family and friends this time of year. Even if under normal circumstances an author has a solid team behind them the years-end holidays involve many people, no matter their j.øb, traveling/being away for extended periods or hosting family which can get in the way of things as usual. This includes out friends at the end of the line, who ultimately are the ones depended on for book arrivaI. One or two here or there taking time away can be a large reason of disruption for delays in IąþeI made->in pozze session stat/us.

Makes a lot of sense. I’m continuing to be patient and hoping to see some movement soon, and so far I have no reason to panic, comms have been good and already read one of these mags…just antsy and wish I ordered 3 weeks earlier instead. Probably just the holidays and everything else said here

I doubt it. He is doing an exit scam right now. Saying he can't keep up with his orders....which makes no sense when you are a vendor.

Just got p0stal movement on most of my p4cks all at once with ETA dates (giant sigh of relief). Feel like a dick for questioning him this morning and being impatient, so I apologized to him. But regardless, he is def holding up his end, so just be patient you’ll get a scan soon. Even my Amazon pkgs are taking several days longer to hit scans right now. He’s still the goat IMO, stuff is just taking longer right now bc of everything said above hang in there

All of a sudden I’m running an exit scam? You expect me to be able to associate every order placed to an email address cuz I’m a vendor??

Hope not, my last order was fkn expensive. He emailed me right back on our existing thread within 2 minutes (almost too fast) with a “holiday volume, mags were dropped, don’t worry it’s coming” message. Funny that my U5PS informed delivery shows an Amazon package from 2 days ago already in possession/scanned while I’ve got 3 separate Art mags all still sitting in “awaiting items” since 12/13. I was hoping to see some movement this morning, but now I’m beginning to worry. Way earlier up the thread it seemed it took some folks a month or so to finally get theirs or Art made it right with them eventually but I guess this is the price of admission. I have never tried any other vendors because I have a specific taste in mags and Art came thru once for me on a first (and only) order gamble. Can anyone suggest a better and faster vendor with legit ALP magazines if I get burned and have to try again? I’ve gone thru a lot of the DBG vendor lists and haven’t found much, especiall

I did not ask you to provide me for tracking. Stop trying to make me look like the bad guy. You literally said order was received and of course, as a vendor, I assumed you had everything under control. And with the exit scam statement, I held accountability by saying "I'll give this writer another chance." And what's next for me to say? That I apologize for being rude, but that is just how I felt.

Bth mag landed yesterday. 1st time ordering and reading this kind of magazine. Didn’t realize how difficult it would be to handle the pages (sticky), but the story was strong! I don’t have much to compare it to, so I can’t really provide an informed analysis but I can definitely say it is what it is supposed to be.

Another subscription success from Art, my personal favorite author on the website. Although, I think there may have been a little mix-up with my subscriptions.. just emailed him hopefully to get it straightened out. Subscribed to one publication then another publication a few days later and received the latter magazine before the first... occasional mix up aside (which art has always made right out of his own pocket for me), he's been the best person I've worked with since R went away. Thanks again Rev. Pls check your email tho!

Order Issue #2: Received second order before first
emailed art and let him know about the situation, provided all the necessary receipts. Got a "let me check" response and nothing since for the past hour. Last time there was a mix up with my order it took a little more nudging than I would've hoped but he eventually made it right, and I wound up with a free magazine because of it. This particular situation is unfortunate because the first order was for a magazine that I am experiencing severe side effects of from not being able to read it, so hopefully this gets sorted out quicker than last time. I have paid for both subscriptions this time, after all. Just posting for complete transparency for the sake of others and the forum, to allow due diligence for all and accountable, trustworthy vendors.

Art has never done anything that would make me think he was intentionally cheating me, and he's always corrected any errors on his end, so I am not worried in that regard, I am just kind of screwed insofar as this was a time sensitive subscription and now it looks like it won't be here when I had planned for it.
I will keep the forum updated as this situation gets resolved. Still nothing but love for Art though, he's a good dude and as of 5/6 subscriptions, has always done honest business.
