I'll start things off by introducing Arthur.  I'm sure some of you have heard of Arthur or his business partner Will (completely private).  Arthur is an email vendor in the Philippines.  I have never used Arthur, but have been doing a bit of research on him and he gets good reviews and carries unique products.  I believe he belongs in this thread as he:

1)  Has a rather extensive menu, which includes a good amount of HTF pain meds.  lncluding the sought after "old formula" , among others.

2)  Packaging is supposedly second to none, requiring tools and time to find the goodies.  From what I read, he encourages people to contact him for instructions if they receive and cannot find the product.

This is a tremendous idea, and one that I feel will allow DBG to grow it's vendor base with extremely high quality, reputable vendors, including some who are currently private, but have additional capacity for "high quality", discreet customers. That being said, it is absolutely imperative that the integrity of this section be maintained, and that we do not "hook up" non-VIP members with vendor information from this area of the board. I won't speak for my fellow Mod Squad members, nor any vendors they may choose to introduce to this newly created area of DBG, but speaking only for myself, I am acquainted with several private vendors who are long established in athlete and entertainer circles, and who would be extremely strong additions to our vendor roles. I am, at the present time, discussing how they might bring their offerings to a select group of members who are well established and proven. Anyway, my point is, as I continue discussions with these private vendors, I will propose to them that as a matter of standard operating procedure, that they ask for and obtain the screen name of any new customer originating from DBG, and then verify that they are in fact VIP members through the moderator and administrative staff. I will also be recommending that they also implement a "one name / one shipping address" policy per member / user name, in an effort to avoid the sharing of these restricted vendor's information with non-VIP's who then use someone else's user name for verification purposes.

In any event, the primary reason for these comments is to drive home the importance of absolute discretion in this section. Speaking again regarding the vendors I am acquainted with, they do NOT "need" more customers, and have been quite successful operating privately for a number of years. Should any shenanigans or attempts to execute "work arounds" to our stated vendor terms and policies become a recurring event, these vendors will absolutely NOT hesitate to cut ties with us and go back to their present method of operation. Point being, the idea here is to build a significant and valuable benefit for our most well established and trusted members, and it's imperative that the rules, and the wishes of these high caliber vendors, be honored and upheld without exception.

I apologize if I am coming across as somewhat harsh, or if this reads like a lecture. My intent is to make certain that everyone has a firm understanding of what we're trying to accomplish here, and what will be required to build, and more importantly, keep this valuable resource for our VIP level members. Thanks for understanding, and for your discretion.

Jewy

I have to agree that I think it best to screen the idea through vendors. And I am not even sure VIP should be the level it's shared through, but if the two of you suggest a person and believe this is the best way, I know it's got to be right. Hell I would trust y'all enough to send you pictures of myself, or better yet, my GF.  If she could go I'd take her to swim and help her lose a few lbs. Might do that myself, go swimming I mean, if there weren't storm clouds.

All I can add is my inability to find sources too,  and amazement at those who do and go through the trouble of telling others it may help. Theres a lot of good people here, I appreciate y'all.

I've toyed with the idea of creating this thread for a while now, and after a brief discussion with the fellow ModSquad buddies, here we are.  Hopefully this will bring some life back into the VIP section and be a good place for trusted members to find what they need.

This thread is a place to share and discuss:

- Vendors who wish to remain "off the grid" a bit

- Private vendors who occasionally take on referrals/new customers

- Unique/top notch vendors

Please make no mention of this thread, or sources contained in this thread elsewhere on the board!

Bad enough to see people speed post to get 20 posts, we certainly don't need people scrambling to get to 500.  LOL.

H- I think this is a great idea, glad that you posted this!

Fantastic idea brother!! I've also began some research into other sources to possibly bring in some new blood

Kudos my man
Thanks bud! Keep us posted.

Anyone emailed Arth for a list yet?

I'm really excited to find this here now, as it wasn't around in my years. It should be well guarded like everyone says and that will permit a long and successful retail history.
At the risk of sounding like some teenage girl Justin Beiber fan, it's just really incredible to see you back on the board Young. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at the "Top Poster" page over this past year, hoping that you and a few select other DBG pioneers would return. Seriously made my day. And Heisenberg is the one to thank for making this area a reality. DBG really took a major step forward the day he became a member, and an even bigger one the day he became a moderator. I'm really looking forward to building this section, and hopefully will have a few private vendors from professional athletic circles to introduce soon. One has agreed to become a VIP only vendor, and he's working out the details of an introductory product line for the board, and the other is warming up to the idea, albeit a bit more slowly. We're definitely moving in the right direction.

Welcome back and nice to "meet" you! I definitely agree, I think this is a great idea and it will keep DBG going in a positive direction!

Thank you to H and all of our wonderful moderators for all their hard work!

Great post all the way around. And thanks my friend for the kind words. Look forward to your source or sources you bring here as well.
YH, while I don't we've ever "met" on here, so to speak, I've read a lot of your great posts and am also glad to see one of the OG's of DBG come back around. We've really got a good thing going on here now, much better than I've ever seen it since first joining up.

I couldn't agree more. While we had some fun banter in the old days, we're on a quality of operation path that's unprecedented, and the fun is back as well. And damn, talk about a great "veteran free agent" signing with YH returning, to use a sports analogy. The DBG team is stacked and a true contender.

YH and ObliviozGoat returning in the same week, the stars must be aligning. At this rate, hopefully we will see TSS make an appearance before the week's over!

Yes, there must be some Celestial aligning going on. I received an invatation to return to the site a few weeks ago and it reminded me of all the fun and games we used to get up to. I'm sure I will find who the new 'characters' are soon enough and the banter will comence as well as keeping everything professional when it needs to be.

Very nice to meet you Heisenberg, thanks for the kind words. You've come a long way since you've joined which speaks for itself - a mod no less. Good for you and your loyal work to the DBG.

And again Jewbacca, one couldn't have asked for a friendlier or kinder return. Welcomes from many of you is really appreciated, I can already sense copious amounts of goodwill here and I hope to look, learn and join in when appropriate.

Regards,

Young

Thanks for the kind words YH, and you're more than welcome. I'm just thrilled that you accepted the invitation to return! Now I need to work on the short list of a few others that DBG would benefit from having back. Hopefully they'll give the new "Team DBG" a shot and find it as welcoming and enjoyable as you have.

With all those vitamins we are going to have some pretty large members here on DBG

It would probably be settling for them, in the beginning to attach a buzz word such as DBG in the email, just my 2 cents.

As always use at your own discretion and enjoy.

Looks very good Mr. H
Thanks hooter!

You are most welcome Foofoo. Eh I don't know, I had to try it out on ya, not sure if it fits. I assume you understand the reference. Hey you're not the only one who gets to assign nicnames, although apparently I have just proven you are better at it lol
Foofoo! Lol! I am not feeling it, doesn't fit me! Going to have to give me another one dear twin!

  1. P @ psychedpsych: Have good day people, and I hate texting messages lol
  2. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 lol I am actually surprised it is a real ID. I needed those documents because my license had been expired for over a year and I had to start all over. Nothing was in the system. It was a huge mess. I had no clue I was signing up for Real ID. They asked me for the exact same documents that I needed for a State ID Card.
  3. S @ soupson: bless your heart buddy. no sense of grammar or proper insults/jokes. you need this place in ways i can’t comprehend
  4. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Sweet Ol' Me asked about Real ID, Stoup. Are you responsive to emails ? LMAO
  5. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: I smell some Stoup. Is Stoup's on ?
  6. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda You win. I am lost. Thought you were surprised your license was a Real ID, now you say you provided those items.
  7. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda I was under the impression that you'd need all of the points to get a real ID . I'd check it's validity if you're gonna fly domestic any time soon, just to make sure. Not to tell you what to do, sorry -
  8. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 In my state to get a Real ID, I need SS card, Birth Certificate and two proofs of residency. Which I am positive I had to provide to get a new ID when it had been expired.
  9. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @Turbo259 advertising - putting in writing for example an negative action to show they are guilty prior to taking action.
  10. B @ bigblueallda: I haven't flown in an airplane in 20 years lol. Can't recall the last government building I have been in either. According to the symbol it tells me I should have on my ID to make it a Real ID I do have one in my state
  11. Gracie5 @ Gracie5: Hey @CuCeltic99!
  12. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @Turbo259 advertising - putting in writing for example an negative action to show they are guilty prior to taking action.
  13. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda are you sure you have a Real ID ? I mean , they really want 6 points of proof and 1 for your addy and 1 for your SSN. Did you maybe get it done and forgot and flew out of the country or something ?
  14. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda are you sure you have a Real ID ? I mean , they really want 6 points of proof and 1 for your addy and 1 for your SSN. Did you maybe get it done and forgot and flew out of the country or something ?
  15. S @ soupson: did anyone ask about real id or is sweet ol jimmy just rambling
  16. T @ Turbo259: @drjimmy1964 what did you mean by advertise? not gettin the verbiage, DM works if anything, just didnt understand
  17. B @ bigblueallda: {Visit your local Driver Service Bureau with the necessary documents: original birth certificate, Social Security card, and two proofs of your state's residency. } I definitely provided this when I had to get a new ID when i let mine go expired too long maybe I unknowingly got one but I think it is pretty standard here.
  18. B @ bigblueallda: Well it was a state id renewal. Before that there was a mixup and I had lost my birth certficate and social security number. After a couple of weeks and finally getting several documents in order I was able to get a state ID. It had been expired previously for a little too long and they wanted all kinds of proof. It was a mess. But nah I looked up what to look for an my state's ID to see if it is a Real Id or not and my card as the symbol it is supposed to have. I'll take a closer look though
  19. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda are you sure you have a Real ID ? I mean , they really want 6 points of proof and 1 for your addy and 1 for your SSN. Did you maybe get it done and forgot and flew out of the country or something ?
  20. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Actually it says "Not For Real ID Purposes". That is my 2022 renewal of my 2018 picture ID. I am not due till 2026 and I am sure they will make me go in since my pic would be 8 years old - they used to make you go in in my state for aging when I was younger, then went paper - then back to picture ( I think 9/11 to blame for that ) but relaxed it.
