How often does informed delivery show u$ps awaiting an item for drop off but its really already on the way?

I am aware u5ps informed delivery is not always up to date.

Depends on the vendor. Sometimes some take a while (imo) like 4 or 5 days to drop off, and then the journey to you starts.
If you’re referring to the same vend as the one in your previous discussion then yeah, could be 2 days up to 6 (I believe was the longest I saw) to drop off.
Some like Saturn, and typically Cal and Groot, are day of or next. Especially Saturn.
