Best Advice You Were Ever Given

Meal worms wth!! I would think the other ff places are the same! Yuck!

I can't remember exactly, probably because I didn't want to ruin one of my best vices.  It is something that they use as a filler.  I know that a certain portion of the "Burger" has to be hamburger.  But you can put so much of a filler in it and the FDA or someone like that still considers it to be called a burger.

I have heard of the slime mixed with the burger. I know they are allowed some bugs in there also.

Slime?  What is that?  Are you talking about mixing up the beaks, hoofs, tail and the other things we just don't want to know about?

"Pink slime" is beef trimmings. Once only used in dog food and cooking oil, the trimmings are now sprayed with ammonia so they are safe to eat and added to most ground beef as a cheaper filler. Taken from an exerpt online

you guys are ruining my night.  No means no, here is your participation medal, lets pee all over the place, pink slime burger please gads what next?

Jpmorgan, you do speak chick speak well, I thought you were a woman until you reminded me that guys can cook, your recipe was wonderful, even had leftovers, I make biscuits and gravy every week for my husband, so I'm going to make extra biscuits and use you're recipe as a weekly morning treat! I love you cat, don't hurt anyone! Everybody should be treated as equals, I hate when I see rich picking on the poor, or a teenage girl who is going through an awkward period being picked on by the popular clique at my sons school, everyone has feelings, and who is anyone to hurt them? Best advice my grandmother gave me, " once a cheat always a cheat" I thought I could reform bad boys, I have since learned to run for my life!

No not at all unfortunately. I now go to a local meat market and its 1000 times better. I never knew meat could taste so good! I stay far away from grocery store meat!

HL glad you enjoyed the recipe.  I think you are talking about the morning muffins.  Like I said, I am in no way a health food nut as you can tell by my Mcd's obsession, but I really do like that recipe.  It is too bad about the kids and being so judgmental.  You are not born with kindness, it is learned, similarly people are not born racist, it is taught.  Sad world we live in sometimes.

Pappy I started grinding my own burger using large chucks of choice or prime meets.  Much better than store bought burger for sure.  Even with all of the talk about Mcd's it didn't slow down my order of the McDouble today

3. You can pick your nose, you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

Alright I'm punching out after that last one.

Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.

Sorry, should have said a little more in my post, both my mother and I have struggled for years dieting back and forth with my mom always winning our bets on losing weight, finally I asked my mom what was her secret, it was then that she told me ....., If it tastes too good it can't be good for you. Of course, when my mom said it, it was funny.  Unfortunately, it was one of those posts not thought out well.  I guess you had to be there.
I understood it immediately Flower. It truly applies to many more things. Like, say.............drugs. Lol!

Love u 2 Heavenlee! Thanks for the recipe rating! Heading over to the recipe thread so i can try them too! I love me some breakfast even though i only eat it on the weekends.

That mcdonalds video made me sick, but i will still eat there once in a while I am sure

Also Heav, you are so right. Who ARE we to harm others? However, i will be the first one there with my 38 and a baseball bat if I see someone harming an animal. So, i guess i am a hypocrite

Cat, I absolutely love your posts, and your picture with your best friend. So true, after rereading my post I totally get why everyone was in the dark, it was suppose to be funny.  After you read post after post from other members you begin to feel like you know them. I always think about you with your tramps.  You and I are on the same path, and we walk hand in hand with other DBG members, happypappy, Beranda, jmorgan, Bliss, etc. we are united and strong. I try to picture in my mind what everyone is like, and I know you do the same.  I guess my heart is full of love the day after Valentine's Day.

You have to remember, you're a civilian again, you can't hold everyone to the standards that you have become accustomed, take people as they are whether you like them or not.

Everyone has something to teach, if you have the patience to listen.

Know when to shut the fuck up.

(for now)
Uh huh.

  4. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢
  5. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Sorry for comment below, but I couldn’t delete. Know I see the

  10. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I always thought I should’ve been born in a much earlier time but I will say, i do enjoy my Xbox and occasional TV series tho 😂
  11. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I just wish the opioid epidemic never happened. Fk the turn of the century (which would be cool no doubt)! Many of my friends and family would’ve ended up in asylums like so many others. I just wish I could get back all those I’ve lost since the start
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: 1914 I meant
  13. L @ Layne_Cobain: I often wish I lived during the turn of the century or at least before the Harrison narcotics act or whatever I think it was 1924 the fun ended but anyway yeh being able to get laudanum, ❄️ and amphetamine at the local friendly pharmacy
  14. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Chew on the leaves with a bit of slaked lime and enjoy the mild boost you get from the raw base.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I’m sure you know the folks in the mountainous regions along South Americas pacific side buy cócà leaves at the local farmers market just to help acclimate to the higher elevation when they have to head up into the hills.
  16. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I would certainly have bought it, swilled it, enjoyed it…. Why not? A little boost in your juice isn’t going to hurt anyone.
  17. R @ Royboy99: Exports were reported to have around 7.2mg per FL OZ, it’s success is what actually led to Coca Cola
  18. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Having cramps and husband thinks you’re acting hysterical (ie. PMS) the doc would either perform a certain massage to relieve the strains of motherhood and family life of that time or send you down to the local apothecary for a bottle of laudanum… A tincture of alcohol and 10% òpìųm. Fun days huh?
  19. R @ Royboy99: @malestrom: yeah thats it, my bad Mariani, yeah i considered that and also its ROA, which was oral so the bioavailability was lower than insufflation, higher degree of purity tho and longer duration … there was a significant marked increase of patents filed by Edison during the time it was released in the US. Presidents were known to use it as well, and the Queen. The pope awarded the wine the Vatican gold medal award
  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
