Best rock drummer ever

I gotta go with in order:

Matt Cameron (Soundgarden & Pearl Jam)

Jimmy Chamberlin (Smashing Pumpkins)

Dave Grohl (Nirvana & Queens of the Stone Age) I'd have included foo fighters in his bands but they suck balls!

John Bonham

~P~

I like Neil P and Rush a lot, 2112 being my favorite album, but I think they are a bit too technical at times.  I agree with @newdaze in that I like a more free flowing, less technical style of music.  I have seen Rush a number of times and while they are amazing the show is the same in every city.  I can go see my 2nd favorite band Widespread Panic three nights in a row and not hear the same song twice.  Hell their two drummer/percussionists are amazing as well...Sonny Ortiz and Duane Trucks will blow you away.

I almost went to see Primus in the Atl last year but I was hoping to hear a lot of stuff off Frizzle Fry which is my favorite Primus album.  Their drums combined with Les Claypool playing the bass like a lead guitar makes for an amazing sound.

Hell I think Nick Mason from Pink Floyd is totally underrated....smoke a tater and watch the video Live at Pompeii and you will see why.....

I guess it depends on mood....

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: y'all
  2. D @ drdso: It's scary now fr. I'm guessing we're gonna see a lot of exit scammers for former "reputable" veteran vendors. These tariffs/supply chain issues are causing them not to receive product due to seizure/denial. At a certain point they gotta get there money somewhere. Just be careful who you buy from y'all
  3. T @ timyboy: How ya'll doin
  4. D @ dichlorodavid: Ah thanks for the clarity on the strike. I wasnt aware that this is cont'd from the 2024 strike. Hope they reach terms this time (quickly!)

  11. Alkazar @ Alkazar: Technically they were forced back to work the last time they went on strike in 2024, so this is the same strike for the same reasons in 2025.
  12. Alkazar @ Alkazar: I dont know how to direct reply to people on here. But the Canada Post strike will affect any mail coming from the US. It will be held at a facility until the striek is over. Mail that is being sent from CAD to the US will just not be picked up. It all has to be private delivery services now.

  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @LW815 from my experience, CP strikes usually tend to leave the snails alone

  20. LW815 @ LW815: @Alkazar would that effect snail mail arriving to the US from CA in any impactful way?
