Bi-Polar...anyone Here Who Could Share Advice

I am diagnosed bipolar type 2 also. I use medication sometimes, but sometimes not. I don't think the meds help me, but my family probably disagrees. I don't mind the hypomania although it can drain my bank account. But I feel pretty good in that high. I understand, when I am rational, that it isn't the case for those around me. They don't feel good. For the last years I haven been able to work without getting on a sick leave every other month like before. I am more stable, I guess. I think I have developed some kind of stubborness that helps me through some days. Sleep is a huge factor for me. I have to sleep, and I need routines. I am thankful I have a milder version of this illness, and I hope it never gets worse.
