Canada Post is warning the public about a recent e-mail scam that some Nanaimo residents have reported receiving. The messages include fake tracking numbers for packages that are deemed undeliverable and fraudulently use Canada Post's name or brand to invite cus-tomers to either click a link or open a document to obtain a shipping invoice. These fraudulent messages are known as 'phishing' and may contain viruses.
