Anybody rec'd a certified DOJ letter, perhaps after WU or MG confiscates $? Asking for a friend. If so, did you pick up letter?

My friends mom signed for theirs b/c she was picking up my friends mail. Now she is trying to figure out what’s going on. My friend told her that it’s prob a scam or identity theft. But my friend is freaking out, hoping that nothing else comes of this. If my friend does NOT file a claim or anything, will anything else come of this??

Also, my friend used their physical street address for the WU thing that got seized but the certified letter came to their p0 b0x. My friend is having anxiety attacks thinking something else will happen.

Any input from anybody????????? Please!!!!!

I have received a few LL's in the past, but never certified. So I can't answer that.

Thank you. This was from seized funds tho. And it was an insane amount (I’m guessing they combined all amounts). From what I looked up on g0gLe, they seize them send certified saying if you want to file a claim you can. If no claim is filed, they keep what they seized. I couldn’t find anything stating they do anything else beyond that. But, from what I read, it HAS to be sent certified.
