Glad to hear it! A is DEFINITELY an ASSET to the board! Please do let us know when you receive...

Take care and be safe all!

Ordered on 5/1

Partial received 5/3

Other received 5/9.

Was an inventory issue but A was great and shipped next day by 10:30 and just received the rest this morning. Great experience with A! Will definitely use again.

Forgot to post last experience!

Ordered 5-6

Received 5-7

Great service! One brand was one I do not like so I will definitely specify brand again on next order!

Those type of topics and information are not discussed on the forum.

Right Denise... Maybe someone else would PM me with a simple yes or no answer. Thanks !!
Frank

I didn't mean to offend you. This same subject, along with not mentioning packaging, delivery, names of people or ANY other specifics that can be avoided in public posts is discussed in countless places on dbg - probably almost every thread. For very good reason, to protect the site and its members and 'other friends'.

I learned my lesson when new - I was told nobody would PM me about info, for me not to PM members with questions all over the site either, until I spent time reading and re-reading the threads/posts on this site I read for hours - reading the rules several times is very important IMO. Reading the threads helped me a lot to understand and get to know members.

You do yourself a huge disfavor if you don't read the entire site and learn everything you can, instead of just trying to learn bits and pieces as the question hits you - via PM's (which as a new person you won't get much response from)..

You can learn A LOT from the rules and threads, especially how things work, 'no-no's in posting, how to be a productive member of the site and contribute.

There are many good people here who care about and protect each other. It's a nice group of people to become acquainted with over time and friends.

When they see you are serious about being a sincere, dedicated member who follows the rules, makes good posts, contributes information, cares about the site and its members, not just someone here to use them (not saying YOU are doing that) , then will be the time for PM's and private questions, more info.

I'm not being a b*tch. I'm telling you from experience how to become a true, valued member of this site - not just a ship passing in the night.

I hope you take this in the spirit it is intended - which is to give you the advice I was given and which has worked well for me.

I wish you the best.

True.....I mean that if you place an order dont wait until cutoff times for next day delivery. Give yourself some extra time.
In light of some un-savory characters trying to rip a vendor off I think the rules are possibly going to really apply now.

Denise No offense taken. Thank you I do appreciate your advice. I was just being lazy in not reading all the posts. I should have known better as I have been taking advantage of this venue of procurement for 15 years. I remember

back in the days when the order was made over the phone and when it would come with a invoice inside and then you sent the loot. Those day are gone forever and keeping up with the good and bad iops is getting

quite time consuming. I'll try to behave myself. Be good and have fun !!

All the Best

Frank

Hey frank - I know you are getting mixed messages - PM - don't PM. Whatever.

When I joined first of all I read almost all the threads. I picked a vendor that had been praised then emailed her a few times and asked the questions that you are asking.

Honestly IMO I don't care what anyone says. Until you're here a really long time don't go by info given to via PM. There are I think 5 good consistent vendors in this section. If I were you I'd go to each site and use the contact me page and go from there.

Since its the weekend it may take a few days and a few emails to get their attention. That is really the safest way. It's the longest but the safest. It's your money. So do whatcha wanna but that's the suggestion of a grumpy curmudgeon as I've been so lovingly called. I haven't been scammed yet.....knock on wood.

I accept no ones info as legit unless I find it myself or get it from more than one trusted source.

About to try this vendor. I noticed a couple things that were cheaper than any other SY vendor Ive used.

A actually hasn't had a live website in some time, or so I thought. Frankie could speak to that better than I.

Oh no no, there is a website up, it's just that the Displayed link here link is incorrect. In fact I just mailed A through the site 2day. I expect a reply in a day or two as it is the busy time of week, in addition to all the fuckery. Not to mention I told her "not trying to get it in before the weekend, just regular time".

So far I give a double A+ for A
Gotcha, and I stand corrected. I'm having trouble keeping up with which SY vendors have live websites and which don't these days.

Ordered- 5/20

Received- 5/21

Only issue was that my dumbass forgot to specify brand so I got the 224s(my least favorite)!! Totally my fault! Oh well...things could always be worse! Perfect service on A's end though!!!

Glad to hear it Lucy!

And you point out a very valid point! Not only with this vendor, but ALL VENDORS, it is very IMPORTANT that you specify the description of/brand of product which you prefer IF there is one, otherwise, it's basically a crap shoot. This goes for shipping services as well... I have seen it many times where someone asks for/pays for next day air service on a Friday, only to find out the order is scheduled to be received on MONDAY, when it was expected to arrive on SATURDAY...

This is not a mistake on the vendor's side... because when something is shipped out next day air [at least with UPS], on ANY day, it is delivered the next BUSINESS day AKA Monday through Friday...

Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are not included because they are NOT considered "BUSINESS" days... so it is VERY IMPORTANT to specify EACH time what type of shipping you want. ESPECIALLY if you are expecting a delivery on a SATURDAY, because not only is it a different "service" than regular next day air, but it also costs a few dollars more as well...

And on a side note, also about shipping... SOME vendors also offer next day air SAVER. This option is a little bit cheaper than next day air because instead of the shipment being guaranteed to arrive by 10:30am (Local time, in most cases), next day air SAVER is guaranteed to arrive by 3:00pm (Local time, in most cases) or some times, by the end of the day. There are quite a few other options also (Next day air EARLY A.M., etc.) that I won't go over, but you can check out on UPS' website that you may be able to ask your vendor about if need be...

So the moral of the story is to ALWAYS be sure to specify EXACTLY what brand/the description of the item(s) is that you want with EACH and EVERY order IF there is one that you prefer over the other(s) AND to also be sure that you indicate what type of shipping you want/when you want and/or expect your order to be delivered by, otherwise you may not be 100% sure when it will be scheduled to arrive...

Sorry for the rant everyone, but I definitely believe this is information that EVERYONE should be aware of, if they are not already! And if you have any additional questions, please feel free to PM me personally or post in the thread and I will be sure to help out if I can!

Thanks everyone and have a good afternoon!

Attention all dbg'ers!

Just got word of a shipping special today!! Contact A for specifics!
