Conor Mcgregor v Floyd Mayweather

This was the easiest and most predictable fight. It looked like Conner was really trying to conserve his energy by not throwing too many power punches. Yet he still ran out of gas. Floyd may not be a rocket scientist but inside the ring he is smart enough to know the later rounds were gonna be his for the taking. 

 
We hemmed and hawwed over whether to pay $40 a piece to go to a local casino viewing party, but all the predictions of the fight being over in one or two rounds scared me off (in spite of the drinks and food included).

Now I wish I had gone! Even if the outcome was obvious, it would have been fun to watch. 

 
Fights rarely live up to the hype, especially with Mayweather but I bought the fight and invited friends over. A few pitched in and the fact that I bet 3,500 to win 700 made it worth it. It was fun to have friends over and the fight ended with a TKO. It was a good day.
