So, I was looking for a new mex vendor, and came across another recommended here.  He is not taking new customers, but referred me to someone else.  After some back and forth, I tried MG, and they said "no way".  She has been mentioned here with no negative comments that I could find.  I have never tried MG online, and it was obviously a mistake.  I assume some of you may know who I am talking about; (begins with an A, ends with an e) but If I am being too cryptic, let me know.  So, what's up? 

 
Your mistake was trying to use MG online.  They're notorious for denying payments online.  Do your transaction in person at a store & it will likely succeed.

 
Yep, avoid MG online like the plague. Will get denied almost every time and will eventually get booted by them. 

 
yep even in the uk they denied a payment online for me. the guy at mg was a real smug w@nkr about it. 

 
I am in a pickle. I hardly do mg online. 2 times vrs. Multiple in store. Tomorrow though I am stuck in a seminar, out of own and no means to getting around. 

I want to order before cut off.  Can't get to bank prior or after.  Likly if I ont get it in tomorrow early I m screwed till Tuesday. 

Question- if I do it online and they turn down will it be right off the bat and my money stays put.

Or johne what happened in your case. Are they holding your money? Not ordering from same vendor. But I am one for one online. 

Last year the funds went thru. On my end then the reciever was tagged. Took 5 days for $ to come back...

Any advice? 

 
I had this issue a few weeks ago with WU. I only used them a few times online only and on my last order,  it went through but shortly after I received an email informing me it was pending and someone would call in the next few hours. I received the call and they told me the transaction was cancelled and I was banned from using them. I said that is ridiculous and asked why, she said we don't have to give me a reason and they would issue a refund. The refund took 5 business to go back into my account which screwed me because I didn't have extra funds. Never again will I use an online system. 

 
I hear what you all are saying and I believe it about the online risks but that is the way I have to go because online takes credit cards. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but the 1 time I went in person to MG they insisted on cash or debit card for payment. I need to use my credit card.

@Broadway2282 I've used C V S before and paid with cash, but the cashier asked me if I wanted to use my debit card, however, at Waly world they only accept cash. I think there is a conversation about this on the payment thread and someone else tried their debit card and they declined to take it. Maybe each place has different policies? ( I know this doesn't help you much, but just wanted to share my experience) 

 
As it turned out mg won't send anything higher than 400 online thru their app.

Getting denied by using MG online (plus the vendor went downhill) was what led me here. I finally know what the "red phone" means now and it was successful. You haven't lived until have used the red phone at least once!

Pure hell for me and definitely left a lasting impression. It was a little like interrogation!! (Without the aid of a translator!!)

 
I having been sending MG by going in person and paying in cash at Advance America for years. The main vendor I use is in India and I have never had any issues sending there. Tried ordering from a different vendor because of their quick turnaround. He is a reputable vendor mentioned on here quite a bit (A) and sent MG to CA. When he went to pick it up he emailed me that they said the funds were not available. I asked why and he said to call MG. When I did they said they were not comfortable with this transaction. I kept trying to tell them that I was and they have my money on hold while this transaction is under review. They asked me to have the receiver contact them. No way is that happening. I called again after I got home from work to see if I would get a different result talking to someone new. Still would not release the funds and said I have to go back to the store I sent the money from to provide them more details on the receiver. Anyone else ever have this happen? What should I tell them about the receiver? Not sure why they are so concerned about me losing my own money. 

 
Yes it happens and usually because the receiver gets flagged. It's a giant pain because then you have to go back, get your money back and resend to a new receiver. It happens with that particular vendor more than most. Maybe because of his popularity, I'm not sure.

 
Denson - I feel for you.  I think right now I am flagged by both MG and WU.  I have also tried to send in person only to find out the next day that they would not release the money and I had to go back to the store and get my money back.  I don't get it - I read about all these folks who have a list of 20 receivers and they never get questioned!  Guess it's just me bein' lucky!

This is an old post but as I've stated before. I'm mg banned for sure. I've sent donations, at least once a month for the past 5 years, I go in person. Each time, very large amounts. MG has finally caught up to me. Thank someone that theses vendors are willing to take your donations. You can be banned and "I" am. I've used this site from back in the old days, different handle then. Like I said before now my buddy will let me use the golden method. I thought that was a thing of the past. WCE is super for letting me go this route, have used them before,  long time ago. Anyway. I need some seeds to plant the garden, Spring is on its way. I've always somewhat laid back through the years and listened with limited input. One thing I know, you are one of the great assets the community has. Thanks for doing what you do. I've got many hrs rapped up in send and deny with the red co. In the past 3 days. A little frustrated. I guess I took the well oiled machine for granted. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an idiot and with the time I've spent on this earth I know, all good things shall come to an end. WE NEED A MORE SECURE AND EASY PAYMENT PROCESS. That has been stated over and over. Wish all transactions were as smooth as our friend gleeen. Thanks for your time my friend!!

  7. xenxra @ xenxra: @CalFresh if you are able to DM me (in a secure manner) the transactions associated with your btc theft, i can look into that part for you at least. i;m still 99% certain if the fbi didn't discard my leads they could have gotten some of my coins back and considering you had your coins stolen within the us, you have a much better chance of recovery than me. unless they went through mixers i could probably trace them myself.

Having my savings drained and my security vanish in an instant is paralyzing and the repercussions will only be realized in the coming days and weeks. for now I'm just trying to stay focused on the immediate priorities for ensuring this doesn't. cause cataclysmic failure to the life I've built for my children and I.
