Dental pain or tension headaches. or sinus headaches, pain meds + antiobiotics

well i am  a mess/ wreck by now already as every can see by my threads i am in sort's of crap these days... heres the low down... 

members, Friends? Please help!! I am prescribed to amox antibiotics , vics 3/325, and ibuprofen 800mg, i am suppose to take the ibuprofen during the day for the tooth ache pain alongside my amox. Dentist took x-rays and saw the fillings are the rear molar and said that he doubts it that causing the bad pain into my eye and the headaches that originates from that area where i had my left upper wisdom tooth removed. headaches are severe and come and any given time.... and i really try not to take the vic until it really gets bad, jst the ibuprofen. The tooth is good, no cracks, just unfortunately has 2 fillings If amox treatment doesn't work cause dentist thinks its prob sinus related i may need a root canal. Bottom line is he stated himself he doubts its the tooth and worse case scenario it can be a root canal, and i dont want to do something that nots not related to my rear molar, and find out the evil DEMON HEADACHES come back.

few days later......

i started thinking it was tension headaches i am getting from stress and over-thinking??? or just neck spasm?? or something with my sinuses, cause i am eating hard food/soft food cold/hot drinks and no discomfort from the tooth.... the pain is worse in the left eye socket area and goes to the above left side temple of my forehead and gives  me the suicidal pain!!!!, and also elevates down to my left upper rear molar teeth area, making me think its my teeth?? but not really so therefore either has to be sinus or tension headaches, maybe my head's fucked up for all the wipe outs and i need a cat scan for my head????? dam what if i become victim to that issue where everday i have a migraine for the rest of my life ? omfg?? last nite i had to take 2 ibuprofen 's one at 11am for that pain i described and than at 5:30 before work, i waited to take the vic and the flex after work to feel more relaxed and loose, if its tension headaches maybe i can loosen up a bit and stretch out my muscles... but i am afraid of migraines the rest of my life????  

i just dont want to go bouncing around from dentist to general doctor to a ent doc, and just get billed.... but these headaches are evil!!!! I MEAN GIVE ME A GUN AND I DO IT NOW EVIL , showers, ice wont help , im dying...................................

You could maybe give a neti pot a try Mr C, nasal irrigation /sinus lavage. It's really pretty good at preventing sinus infections etc. Although that's assuming it def isn't dental related.

it sounds like migraine cluster head aches, i had to go on topamax for a few months to make the head ache go away because it never did..

i would make an app with a neurologist and he will help your head aches go away...

its more common then you think , feel better hun.

yah i think i believe it is a ongoing migraine, i have been lacking sleep, maybe il lay off the energy drinks during the day . and get some sleep, i been stressin lately too

The best thing in the world I've ever taken for a migraine was Fioricet. I could have the worst headache known to man, and a couple of those would wipe out the worst headache ever!

woke up this morning felt a lil somethin somethin, ate some bfast and took a excedrin instead of the vic/ibuprofen , gonna see if it will knock it out ,

Sorry for the late reply "MrCoolDude" /default_smile.png But I was out running errands today. Picking up some goodies at the local level /default_wink.png  Yes it is a prescribed medication, but I have seen it listed on a few sites. If I'm not mistaken, TTM's carries it. You may ask around, speak to some of your friends, you never know someone may have a few, someone local may have a few they'll lend you or even let you have. You just never know who could have these. Do you know anyone, a friend that complains a lot about having bad headaches? That would be a good place to start asking... But it's sure a headache killer. At least it works wonders for me.

Since they're like a combination style  drug, maybe you could drink lots of coffee, take Tylenol, and add the other part of the medication and come up with something similar?  I don't know for sure about concocting your own setup....lol. But I do know, that it's HIGHLY possible that a friend or some older family member could have some on hand.

okay so my plan is to stop al energy drinks, and pre work out energy drinks meant for the gym..... and just cheef harder and take my regular 2mg daily xanax dose, goto sleep, wean down from the OTC crap, and if my migraines are gone atleast i know it was from too much energy drinks and i mean Jack3d original forumule preworkout energy drink . 2-3scoops a day....

if sleep doesn't bring me back to normal , than il make that appointment with the Doc:/ i called the dentist today and canceled my appointment and told them , sorry but thank them for the immediate urgent response in giving me antibiotics, and the other 2pk's but didn't need to followup cause i think its none tooth related.. 

unfortunately i do not know anyone that would have that, no one tells me shit /default_sad.png and everyone i know smokes the gangja so ima increase my gangja intake

weird ,2 of my friends both suggested i take lsd since its known to help with cluster headaches, while reading more on how lsd effects headaches, apparently the prescription meds like imitrex or whatever its called has some kind of chemical from lsd that is used for these types of migraines

also reading on how temp and change's in weather can effect it, maybe i need a ct scan? to make sure i have no tumors??? or internal bleeding? but if i was dying il prob be in some fked up state of mind?? aaahhh

my migraine came before i got to try some sld, so i stopped at cvs and this time bought some OTC cvs sinus and allery relief, and that nailed that pain that eventually caused the migraine, and the pain behind the eye...still monitoring it......i gotta find the right the day to take the sld, to see if that helps this fkin migraines if its not sinus related

yesterday i skipped the pain killer vic, and advil and took one anti allergy med in the morning generic brand from cvs at 6:30am, got home from work at 7:30pm, and i felt it coming on slowly the pressure behind my eye, i decided not to take the painkiller at the point and try the anti allergy med, and with 15-20mins the pain that was starting behind my eye subsided, so does this mean i have sinus allergies, and the anti-biotics from the dentist didn't do shit, ? and only thing that helps i think at the moment is sudafed or some kind of anti allergy med,,,

i am trying to rule out migraines, my friend went to the hospital for what he thought was kidney stones and found out it was appendicitis or whatever its called, HIS BILL WAS $32,000 and than whatever he pays that insurance doesn't pay!! i cant afford med bills in the $10000 and get sent to a neurologist, ent doc, cat scan and xrays all that add up, to rule out what is the cause, omfg why does out bodies play games with us

Why not make a app with a reg doc like me and other say,,

from how your talking its either allergy related or migraine related....

migraine you will probably go on meds  for a few weeks to stop the head ache completely or if its allergy..as my husband had..

he had pressure behind his eye that cause disabling head aches..turns out his sinuses where inflamed...

had to go on prednisone and zyrtec D for a few weeks...it went away after that...

but you will never know unless your checked out...and im not a doc but just from the sounds of it...i highly doubt u have any sort of tumor, but u will not know what it is or how to treat it unless you get seen....

make an app with a doctor and go from there,,if its ur sinuses he will look up then and see it right away.....gl

I was just reading this morning about allergy meds working for migraines. Even ones that weren't proven to be sinus problem related.  I'm glad  they helped cuz you can't be tripping in outer space on a daily basis.

I had migraine for years my doctors had me on Miltown which is an older drug similar to somas and they tried fiornal and all of the opiates.  I found that when I would go get a Demoral shot the migraines would get worse.  Finally. I was prescribed Imetrex.. It was a frigging miracle No more being in bed for days. I saw the orb’s that comes before the pain and I would take the tablet and within 20 minutes the pain was gone. If your headaches are migraines ask your doctor
