Dilaudid

I take 4 mg of hydromorphone every 5 hours but my doctor wants me on the extended release ones instead. I don't think they will help as much as instant release.

What about the extended release ones?? Can you crush them. And how?

I have taken them and they work but if you are in serious pain like a migraine you will go yo sleep before you get out of pain.

I think they make the er tabs out of that gooey shit like OPs now, so it's nearly impossible to get around the slow dissolve mechanism. Meaning they dont crush so well anymore. Be careful trying that anyway. dilauded aint no joke. Though Im told it's BA is really low most routes 'cept IV. But dont go down that road. No beuno.

What about just opening the tablet pouring it into a glass of water and drink it. Would that be ok??

As a pharmacy operator yourself you may appreciate this. There was a great comic in the New Yorker. It was a picture of heaven- an open, fully stocked pharmacy with the words "self serve" displayed above. If I ever get to that pharmacy I'm heading straight to the patches and pops.
Maybe I'm misinterpreting your comment or taking it out of context, but may I ask why you are of the opinion that I'm a "pharmacy operator"? My professional activities are fairly well documented.
You have to always use caution

I was disappointed with dillies. Because of the low BA they barely scratched the surface for me and I refuse to try them taken any other way so that are not an option for me. Guess I should consider this a good thing.

That's why I have never tried them even though I enjoyed it immensely in the hospital. I could never use that method of administration.

My pain doc has been switching me every other month between dilaudid and opana....I had to have emergency surgery in July and had a large open wound because of complications until a few weeks ago....I've always had a problem with dilaudid building a tolerance WAY too fast.  The doc has me on 5 - 8mg a day, along with a 75mcg fent patch.  the dilaudid works great for about the first week....then my tolerance just skyrockets and they might as well be like taking an aspirin.  Even when I was in the hospital I form tolerance to the iv meds so quick that they literally had to put a different one in my pain pump every day...so they would rotate between morphine, dilaudid and fentanyl.  It's a horrible problem.

WoW! Cannot believe such a drug is available and Imagine it is very expensive and often fake? I am new here and had pancreatitis 2 years ago and after 2 morphine injections for pain and it did nothing! they shot me up with a dose of Dilaudid and the extreme pain vanished and I was in a different world for days that I was on it! Hardly a recreational drug, my heart bleeds for those in chronic pain, and if this is what works for you, God Bless Ya, FF

@bluebonnet1976 I just had three dillys 4mg amazing I love to iv dillys mixed with two 30s would love yo find s legit dilly vendor
Yeah combo those dilly’s and you will get the best IV rushes that are possible. I remember 16mg dilly and an OC80, or 16mg and .1 -.2 H4 was heaven obviously adjust to what your comfortable with but I never found Dilaudid to be very potent even IV. Euphoric as hell upon injection but no high after snd always leaves you wanting more unless you put something with some substance in with it

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
