I have had a broken spine and have been on 90mg of mscontin and 10 mil grams of oxy fir break threw pain every 6 hours it’s been my meds for 15 years . I was involved in a blood clot got loose bounced around from there they tracked me the sent me to a physical therapy hospital and the dr has cut my meds I get 15 milligrams a day oxy cut in half I swear I’m detoxing they say this for your own good I always thought I had the right to say no

The state of pain med prescribing in the USA is unethical it’s pathetic and irresponsible. We tried to fix a problem but we got a 30% rise in overdoses. Instead of taking all the pills away develope new treatment drugs or look at ones we have and don’t use levorphanol. Teach doctors to treat addiction and approach it with harm reduction and compassion to help instead of ruthless zero tolerance.
