Electrum set up questions

Anyone wanting some personal assistance via one of my burner phones or telegram, direct message me...I don't want fear to keep people from learning how to do things right the first time..it's too easy to get scammed or make mistakes..it's not easy, don't just take some random persons advice, as they probably wanna shill a referral link..I'm not here for that...I want more users on the network..and I want more comfort and less fear.

I set up electrum standard wallet the other day and transferred like $6 b1lls to it.  I am a newbie fo Elec. and really bee tea sea in general,  but I know the trans went through ok.    I don’t have that option that CB has where I can see the donation in B or you ess dee form, but it’s ok. I copied and pasted the amount into a converter and saw it’s there.    I wanted to send and I have vends w@ll addy but it says “not enough funds”  (I think it’s saying I need to use some for transaction fee .

this is where I’m lost-   How do I adjust the Elec wall to use some of the $$ for fee ?   I click p@y thinking that’s all I had to do and never thought about the fee.   
 

so this newbie is lost - it’s really the only thing I need education on (4 now) - I have a loaded w@lit but it’s (I believe) the fee option that they want me to enter (I’m pretty sure) before they send. Say I wanted for example to trans $680 for example to a vend-   And my balance is $750-   How do I figure out what fee is ?  So many bells and whistles to learn but I’m SO CLOSE LOL.

@drjimmy1964 You may have to go into your Tools > Preferences > Fiat and select your preferred currency to be able to convert directly in Electrum. But you should have 2 boxes to enter an amount in on both the Send and Receive tabs, allowing for quick and easy conversions at point of transaction.

@rootshealer thank you!   I actually figured it out - after posting and before seeing your post.    I found an option to show my donation in B form as well as YouEssDee form - and the other part about not enough - well -  as much as I THOUGHT I had more than enough to donate,  it was telling me I didn't -   and when I checked a few days after I installed it, I saw it was a difference of almost   f@wdy les than I thought I had - almost like in  Wall Street how stocks go up and down - my donation balance seemed to,  and I had to go add more before the vend ran out of what I wanted to read.   ( there was only a specific amount that he had just now and then and I had to hurry  well at least according to him ).    Anyway -  thanks again.

The only thing I am still confused over is the last pop up about the f@@ 0   "CB"  used to automatically take that - here I think I decide somehow ( I need to examine it more ) what to use as a tranny fee( that sounds so silly LOL )   .

Do you know if say you donated  $6 bills is there a specific donation tran fee that you use - ?    It's a sliding thing inside a pop up box you have to adjust before it sends

@seekerslayer i replied in another thread where you asked this question, but if you are using an exchange to buy crypto youll have to go through their KYC requirements which means you have to be older than 18.   Also, you dont have to reply to a thread to follow it, you can just click the follow button at the top.  Take care
