I was making a post. When I went to delete a sentence, the entire post deleted. This actually has happened many times. I'm not upset mods. I know it's hard to keep stuff going. Just an fyi to look into this. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

@Drunkensmurf  You mean like everything you were typing erases instead of just the sentence?  Sound like a possible computer issue more than a server issue.  Like some sort of "delete all" hotkey or something?  I havent had that happen to me so far.  If you give more detail of what was happening that can help.  Like are you highlighting and then pressing delete, or holding down the delete button, etc.  Also could try the "undo" button in your browser maybe to reverse the deletion.

This kept happening to me for like the first month I was member, then my phone got a software update and it fixed it. It was annoying as hell though.

Before that, I'd have to write out my posts in email drafts and copy and paste them lol

It doesnt always happen. But seems to happen when I have written a lot. Lol. I see a mistake or want to add to the sentence. Usually it is when I want to delete the period so I can add more. Definitely frustrating but I am learning how to avoid this.

@Drunkensmurf That does sound frustrating!  If multiple people are reporting it it possibly is a coding issue.  Are you using a phone or computer?  Are both browser and operating system fully updated/upgraded? Have you rebooted recently? Have you tried a different browser?  Def report back if any of those seem to work.   I know sites sometimes work well with some browsers and not others and some sites mobile interfacing can be wonky so that may be it?

@DoomKitty it is a phone using chrome. It doesn't always happen. Last time was about 1 month ago. But I also havent been on here much lately. Probably happened 4 times total. I'll try the steps you mentioned. Thanks for the help

  1. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: whereas if I use fiat to buy something the money is green anyway. Monero does this really well. Anyway rant over, you can DM me if you'd like to talk more about cryptos.
  2. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I don't really think that people understand the whole point of cryptos in the first place anymore. BTC just won't be adopted by governments because the transactions are too public and what's worse, money that is freshly minted is better than money that has been used. Like if my btc was used for something that was illegal does that mean the money is "poisoned"?
  3. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @xenxra Yeah, Like I said I've never really been that fond of btc, it isn't used as a currency, just as a place for people to invest money in, even though the whole purpose of btc was to be a currency. If it doesn't fulfill that role, what does? Monero certainly does.
  4. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: What's good guys! Just got back home. Missing football today :( Fuck the probowl lol
  5. shoutback @ shoutback: Volkanovski is the greatest featherweight of all time. Better than Aldo or Holloway at their peaks.
  6. S @ sawganaut: I bet btc bottom is in
  7. D @ dragnetopher: No, I don’t think it. I know it. And it’s not just bitcoin, it’s all crypto. And like I said, they’re selling to acquire liquidity for when countries truly start utilizing what’s been set in place. The USD is under controlled demolition as we speak. This is all part of it.
  8. xenxra @ xenxra: there is no shortage of whales - https://tikolu.net/i/fmnru.png
  9. xenxra @ xenxra: tokenisation is not a plan its already been happening for months, ive been trading this whole move on silver through ethereum
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: you think whales are dumping bitcoin because of something everyone has known about for like 4 years? what does bitcoin liquidity have to do with trading tokenized assets? they don't have pooled liquidity.
  11. D @ dragnetopher: Whales are tanking BTC due to the fact that the future is coming now, literally. There’s a plan to tokenize every single asset possible. This is whales dumping so they can have liquidity for the Springtime.
  12. xenxra @ xenxra: @Gulp2788 this is a terrible spot to buy bitcoin haphazardly because it's going down another $5k -$7k if 80,000 doesn't hold. i told everyone to get the fuck out of bitcoin at $103k. it's better to buy late when the bottom is more certain than throw darts and act like the opposite outcome was unavoidable just because it went down "a lot" and everyone seems to be "freaking out". wait for it to get back over 85k
  13. xenxra @ xenxra: @aarons the last time i said monero was on discount in here it went up 5x in 3 months
  14. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: good opportunity to buy more btc if you are gonna do so imo, me I'm buying the btc to switch into better currencies
  15. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: bah politics, no need to worry BTC is a honeypot anyway
  16. fishladder @ fishladder: down since trump
  17. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: btc has been hovering around 90k for a year everyone is freaking out tbh I am laughing
  18. shoutback @ shoutback: Wow wasn't btc just at 120K or something?
