Everything 80S...........

I had a mitre mouldmaster size five football âš½. It was actually a lethal weapon used amongst children of the time. If that hit you, the imprint was there for 2 weeks hahaha. Not many grass pitches where I was either, red blaize football pitches, a sort of ground up stone filings surface, which I probably still have in my knee to this day

Peeps in my area always put house speakers in the back seats of their cars "back in the day". Strange to think about that. Pry why I say......what?? a lot now-a-days. Miss the drive-in theaters.

No drive in theaters where you live? I guess I should feel fortunate that I have two within 30 miles of me and at least another two that are within 60 miles of me. Love the drive in!

Paradise by the dashboard light!

Actually that song was from the 70's but it's the idea of car sex is what I was referring to.

btw lost mine in a Mustang. And it was before the 80's. Not a the drive in though.

Ha I had no idea meatloaf was around in the 70's!

I know so many people that have lost their virginity in a vehicle. It was def the way to go in high school, cheap and semi-convenient.

Rough riders and Stompers came out. And...How bout' them Garbage pail kids??

Christa McAuliffe was killed when the space shuttle Challenger blew up. She was the school teacher on board.

They were trying to figure out which kind of shampoo she used, than they ended up finding her Head and Shoulders on the beach! /default_sad.png

They seemed to focus on her so much so, that the other astronauts seemed to be forgotten. I remember them constantly talking about her.

Prince, boom boxes, big earrings, 1st Gloria Vanderbilt jeans then Guess, Liz Claiborne purses and lots of hairspray.

Watching dire straits 'money for nothing' video on MTV and thinking I had gone in to the future!..

Which incidentally now looks like so far in the past...

Yeah they traded all of the theaters in for big box stores. Gotta push the merchandise. There's a few scattered around yet but not like in the 80's

1980 deaths of Bon Scott, John Bonham and John lennon all in one year! Not sure if I spelled Bon Scott's name right. Three amazing musicians/songwriters/entertainers. What a great loss.

Gary Numan. In cars.

My uniform was a concert t shirt of sometype (or an OP shirt) usually black, black leather members only style jacket, skinny guess Qjeans or parachute pants...always with zippers at the ankle to make them extra skinny, HUGE hair with Aqua Net, HUGE earrings, giant socks and those little ankle bootie flat shoe thingies, or combat boots. dressing up for me was switching out the jeans to a spandex skirt and boots. Lol!

How bout' them friendship pins? Safety pins with different beads on them. Your friends would make them and give them to you. We use to cover our shoe laces with them goofy things! The more pins you had, the "cooler" you were. The girls would wear them with hot pink leg warmers....Wow! what a turn on.. /default_wink.png
