HI DBG FAM,

So I have not seen any threads on the craziness that's going on in our own county the huge dare I say it -Race War-  that's what this is do you not agree? It is spilling over with its hate and built up pain and anger that has been built up for years!! Now maybe If we had the proper channels for people to talk about this and vent I don't think this would be as nearly as bad as things are right now the people just want to be heard and can we blame them? Now I don't believe that burning down the Walgreen's/Taco Bell or jacking cars does anything but to hinder and bring away from the growth that could come from this so don't get me wrong on this. But lets be frank the politics/media really went and pulled a Beavis and Butthead on this one guys. I am siting here online and cant believe what I am seeing/hearing on the news as well as on a online police scanner get on one take a peek it just keeps on getting worse and the police just can not keep up or control this with the fires the looting and shooting I cant believe that they thought by waiting till 8pm at NIGHT to release the jury's verdict that they thought somehow this would keep things calm?!? CAN YOU SAY OUT OF TOUCH!? Did any1 else find that to be madness?! the protesters think this will help the cause?! All this did was made big problem into a huge one it just turned all the business owners police and peaceful protesters of Ferguson against them and just made everything that the media said true that ppl came out just to loot and cause problem's it has turned into just a big free4 all. They went and spit right in Michael Browns parents face after they had begged protesters to remain peaceful. Also a lot of this was due to the speculation of the news they should have left things alone for the most part and just reported on the Fact's! And just gone on what the facts are if this had been done I believe this would have not have been this bad this will go down in history I just hope and pray this will stop and we can open up some communication lines. I want to hear what you guys think about this and do you think how the protesters are acting is the right way? Me I believe the cop was truthfully afraid for his life now did he act the right way from the jury's stand point yes but for me I need the facts. What I do know is shooting at police and reporters and looting is not the right way of going about this. Why are you looting from black owed stores by doing this you are doing nothing but proving that this has nothing to do with Michael Brown or caring about better rights for African American's or police brutality. if you want change this surely is not the right way to go about this it is only hindering and stopping the progression. By these action's you will only prove you are simply falling into the mob mentality of looting stealing and taking for yourself and just seeing this opportunity of what can I do for me not helping Mike or doing any good for the message the peaceful protestors are trying to send you are now just craping on the dreams of hard working African American's that have poured their sweet and tears into their stores so are you not as bad as the ones you are fighting against? Because you have now just oppressed them? You are now taking away the American Dream of freedom prosperity and freedom from oppression you have now cased the oppression to the ones that you are fighting for and have took the food right out of their mouths and harmed the Children of Ferguson who will now have to live in this mess. We need to change this it is just fulfilling the stereotype and now giving so much ammunition on the hate that I'm sure will come from this damage and give people real reason to be afraid and the police will now have no choice but to act with extreme aggression I mean what they are doing now is not working at all!! I mean what is going on!!?!! This needs to stop we need to have peace I Just pray for protection over the Family's/EMS/Police/Firefighters/National Guard and Elected Official's to really stop and think about how to make this right because they had a HUGE PART in making this mess now for the love of god clean it up. So now guys what do you think about this whole mess let me know because it need's to be talked about,

I would not want to be there at the moment if I was a person of color. Being out that late leaves nothing but a target on your back. I think they did it so late at night because they wanted the looting, to try and show black people in a negative way: as looters and thieves that if they do not get their way, they will cause violence and destruction.

The sad fact of the situation is that if you get killed by a cop, he is going to get away with it. It doesn't matter if you are black, white, mexican, gay, straight or a martian. The way the law is written is that if a cop feels in danger he can use up to and including lethal force.

Is it right? No. Does it happen? Yes. Anybody remember Rodney King? Those cops were caught on video....and they got away with it.

  12. LW815 @ LW815: Know what’s really going on in somebody else’s head or how much they’re really dealing with and feel like they’re left with no other options. Been a very sad few days but 2 complete (irl anyway) strangers cared enough about what I was going through to talk to me about it, though they owe me nothing and have no reason to help my personal pain other than the kindness in their own hearts. Just shows that this place is a real community, not just a forum of people who only care about themselves.
