I just moved to northeastern pennsylvania and i cant find a doctor to give me the medication that i have ben taking for ten years. I cant move without it and i need help

I'm sorry to hear that.

Start with a search of the medication name. Read all threads associated with it.

Do NOT jump the gun, no matter how much you may like to do so!

And whatever you do, dont try going thru any member who PMs you, saying that they can get you meds...there are scams everywhere, even here!

Use a reputable vendor on the board with positive feedback from other members...preferably more than one or two!

Welcome, hope you find what you need.

FG

I was also obsessed with reading every thread

My only regret is i didn't take notes. iv probably re-read everything 3x now now my brain is overloaded with super useful stuff and some not so useful stuff.

I also haven't ordered yet becAuse all the old timers say don't gamble with money you.can't afford.to loose.... truth be told imo very close to making my 1st and probably my second order in short secession.

Take notes and check the.status of the members twas giving the recommendations/ advice (especially if your way back a few months to a few years.)

Alot of.the.members screen names i came to trust i later came to findout that theyre banned.

I would like to find a doctor in Chicago if anyone knows anything about this or can help me.

While I unfortunately can't recommend anybody to you (unless you live near Philly) I can say to just keep trying. There's nothing stopping you from seeing more than one doctor so long as you aren't getting prescriptions for controlled substances from more than one of them.

That's what Dr shopping is. Not going and getting treated by more than one person.

So stick with it I guess...

If you don't mind me asking what's the med that you're looking to continue on with and what amounts are you given every month?

Personally I think it's harder for a Dr to script someone 90 rox 30s a month than it is 30 or 40 7.5mg hydros  or tylenol 3s or whatever else.

I am trying to find a doc near columbus Ohio. I need a script for anxiety meds. benzies in particular. I can easily get what I nneed from iop s . but I need a script for the parole officer. have been on them for years but doc dropped me for missing counseling appt. been without for weeks due to not wanting to viola're my parole

Has anyone had experience with a website with the initials 1stCC.net? This isn't the full website name but I'm not sure whether to call them in full yet.  Newbie here but been browsing a long time.  It appears very interesting and similar to eclinicmd in that you pay them for consults in your area and the doctor you consult with is there b/c he is generous with certain types of meds and knows what you are getting at.  They do require med records that as I understand it, note that you've been prescribed that med sometime in the last 12 months.   They do have quite a few states highlighted as serviced.  Hope this post is OK, again, Newbie here.  My apologies if not!

Looking for a doc to diagnose adhd and prescribe for it in Rhode Island. Any help anybody? I was diagnosed with it as a kid and my mother wouldn't let them give me ritalin. Until recently was usually drinking and didn't realize how much I needed it? Plus they can be fun meds. Also trying to find a mmj doc for back pain and rod in leg.

I am very nervous about this very thing, my Dr. is getting old and will be retiring soon, and no other Dr. will precribe me my needed medication, I only hope he can refer me to someone who respects his opinion for the past 7 years or so.

OP - I hope everything works out for you!

It's so sad to see people in pain and the Dr's not helping.

WE know what is going on with our body, and we know what works if we have taken the medication, but yet.. still the Dr. is correct.

God Bless,

Andy

I am near Phillip area and Delaware and am very interested in a good doc as mine just died and I am in great need. Thanks for any help....

Im not sure if these ever get answered, but I don't see anyone looking for any doctors to help in the NY area.

I can't PM yet, but if anyone has any information and can let me know, that'd be much appreciated.

Also, I have multiple x rays showing some nasty structural damage, so how about a legit online consultation where they will write something to really help?

In Raleigh, its tough even for ligitimate pain, doctors are hesitant on new Patients, sucks.

  1. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  3. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  4. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  5. aBBazaBBa123 @ aBBazaBBa123: @rockychoc How do I contact you?
  6. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  7. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  8. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  9. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  10. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  12. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  15. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  16. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  17. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  18. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  19. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
  20. Alkazar @ Alkazar: It is INSANE how doctors treat tax paying hard working people like criminals when they ask for opioids. This world just keeps getting more and more backwards. But thanks to this site to be able to find people to help when no one in the medical world will.
