I know this is very common information but I had been done doing this stupid shit for the last few years and ATMS were not prevalent at all back then. I know they’re known to have a higher deposit fee but 33%? That is fucking criminal and as soon as you put your money in there is no way to get it back without contacting the non existent customer support and even then it will take two weeks. So you’re basically forced to continue putting money in until you’re robbed. Didn’t have a physical ID and couldn’t get verified by any of the bitcoin websites and was in a really bad place and my bank got bought by a Canadian banks that no longer “allows” me to buy bitcoin. Now I use Cash App, and transfer it to my wallet but holy shit don’t be like me and make this mistake, by the time the ATM took all my money I could have bought double from the vendor than what I got….Expensive lesson learned….things should be illegal they legit are only used to scam people.

33% fees? That’s crazy. Glad you found a better way. Definitely a good heads up for anyone thinking about those ATMs, what a nightmare

Yeah the average is between 25-30% some charge as much as 40% and there’s really no way of knowing before you put money in. Basically the operator can set the fee as high as they want. I was prepared for a 10-15% fee but 33%? They are literally designed to scam old people and the desperate. Nothing worse than already being d0pe sick and realize you just threw $130 dollars a way. Disgusting all the people willing to take advantage of the elderly and or the desperate.

Hi Jim Doe. I haven't had any money stolen yet. Here is what I need to do. I need to buy bitcoin to settle a debt I owe. I can use cash or a card. I need to buy btc and turn around and send it all to my friends wallet. Could you please tell me the easiest way to do this? I'm scared of sending money to a site and they say they have to hold it for days or weeks. Any help you are willing to give will be more than appreciated

In my experience it works consistently well, haven’t had a single issue with it

So the way I do it is I transfer money to Cash App as my bank does not let me buy crypto and then I will buy the crypto on Cash App, and then send it to a different wallet (I personally like bitcoin.com app) and then you’re good to send it to whatever address you need too. Cash App will verify your identity instantly if you have a physical ID unfortunately you are going to need to verify your ID to use most of these services, I didn’t have a physical ID at the time and that’s why I was forced to use an ATM.

I’ve done cash app before but I’ve heard recent bad things about it when I was researching, from losing funds to 7 day holds to non existent customer service to straight up not letting you do crypto. Proceed at own risk, and please correct me if I am mistaken.

last Bitcoin buy I made was kraken and I also sent it to my publisher wallet address, which VERY CONFUSINGLY you have to do by pressing the
WITHDRAW” button, so you are withdrawing your Bitcoin funds to a wallet address, in this case yiur publishers

What do you mean? I’ve heard that from multiple people.
Sometimes, Cash App just won’t let you move money. Every attempt came back as payment denied, called my bank thinking it might be an issue on their end. They checked and said everything looked fine. Turns out, it has some glitches that can be really frustrating
