Getting declined by my bank

I am from the Philippines but also grew up here in the US (half and half). I am out here in the US visiting until later this year. I signed up for Ch@s3 bank and according to them when I called them they said they do not let us buy any cryptocurrencies whatsoever.
Weird thing is 2 transactions went through but now it's not going through anymore. I tried a bunch of crypto apps. The 2 successful ones was on Exodus and cashapp but now it's getting declined.
I used to be heavy on crypto using a credit union for transactions but that credit union doesn't let us do crypto transactions anymore either.

Are there any banks that aren't strict with crypto or are there any good methods you guys use?
I am looking to buy BTC instantly like I used to before without having to wait days or even a week before I can use it.

Damn, that’s absurd.

But I believe I have your solution:

You need to load money into Cash App FIRST, like have the funds only in your Cash App account alone. Don’t try to buy crypto by utilizing your debit card VIA Cash App to buy the BTC. Completely take your bank-connected debit card out of the question.

Use your debit card to load Cash App with whatever you need + fees. Then use the money in your Cash App account itself to buy BTC.

This cuts the connection to your bank entirely, as once money is in Cash App, it’s in its own separate bank account, it’s got its own account number+routing number.

If that (for some reason) doesn’t work, try loading your Cash App with money, and use the Cash App debit card to buy crypto elsewhere. If you don’t already have one, you’ll have to wait until it arrives in order to activate it.

Great idea thank you. I tried it but still a failed transaction. The bank is probably flagging it. I'm gonna have to call the bank.

I found out about an online bank called So Fi where you can get crypto with no problems at all. I tried adding money to it but it didn't work either.

I found a solution after calling Cash App. I can go to retailers like 7/11 and they scan my Cash App barcode and I give them cash to put straight into my Cash App instantly. I haven't tried it yet but I hope it works.
My bank is so annoying. I called them first and told them what was going on and they told me the problem was on Cash App's end. I called Cash App right after and they told me my bank was the one that was declining my transactions. I've been trying to figure out how to get crypto this whole weekend, wasted a bunch of my time and stressed me out. I'll try the physical cash method later today and give an update on if it works or not.

That is SUCH a pain. I can’t believe your bank won’t even allow you to add money to Cash App without flagging it and denying the transaction.

The cash method SHOULD work. And once that money is Cash App, you’re home free.

As for SoFi, I’m not experienced. But it seems your bank is entirely against you moving money out of your account, especially to another bank/service.

Any time you use USA money to buy something electronically you will usually have some form of identity verification, if you grew up in teh USA you dont have a bank account here you can use to buy things online? Bitcoin is legal to purchase

i Tried to be a member yesterday and I use cash app and the money was in bitcoin it wasn’t in the bank and it’s whatever reason I couldn’t do it. It said it was declined. I possibly have to call Cash App. It actually gave me the declined message, any one have a better way to do it?
