As you'll notice, I'm fairly busy with trying to make it to retirement to post much, but wanted to say thanks to the Admins and Mods for this site - It is a great resource for information.  I'm of an age where I carry an Army National Guard retirement card (10 years active duty Army and 13 years in the Guard), a VA card, an AARP card, and order from the "Seniors" menu at IHOP, so forgive me if my writing style seems out of date!

Some of you who belong to multiple forums may remember me from IOPList.org, where they have their story about why I was banned and I have mine - All I'll say about that is that the vendor the argument was at the source of is on the black list here.  I have no interest in inter-forum flame wars (or flame wars of any kind, to tell you the truth...I started life with a Scotch / Irish temper that seems to have burned itself out since I stopped drinking, and I started life with a huge barrel of damns to give, but when I scrape the bottom of that barrel these days, I come up empty handed).

Like most of you, I have my own go-to vendors I've been using for some time (9 years in one case), so I didn't come here seeking sources, I came to read what seems to be a vast amount of information, and when I have time, or when a member seems to need help quickly, to contribute where I can.  I wouldn't call myself an "expert" in anything, but I seem to have made a third career out of benzodiazepines and ADHD medications (all of which I'm prescribed by my Doctor - Just not at the doages the tolerances I've developed require).  For my benzo addiction I blame my Doctor, who began prescribing them 11 years ago and has consistently increased the dosage, for my ADHD medication I blame myself - I do, in fact, have an officially registered diagnosis of ADHD, but as with anything else, it started as a med that changed my life and not only saved my career, but resulted in a couple of promotions, then the tolerance kicked in, and you know the rest of the story.

Anyway.  I'm a one forum type of guy, and I'm glad to have found dbg. Thanks for providing this great resource, and I look forward to meeting as many of my new fellow members and getting to know them as possible.

Thanks for your kind words @Back2Good, they are appreciated greatly!  I have no doubt you will make a valuable contribution here! Pleased to have you on board! ☺

  3. N @ necromedic: It was, indeed, and very soft. Would almost flow through your hands on a hot day.
  4. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: I'm trying to remember what the texture was like.. I know it came in a pouch like chewing tobacco. I remember it being cut up in strips like shredded chewing tobacco too, was that the case???

  9. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Bubblegum rack? Like, boobies?
  10. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
  11. xenxra @ xenxra: what do you mean "what happened to it"? it's sitting at the store on the bubblegum rack like it always has
  12. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: What happened to Big League Chew? That was some mighty fine chewing gum. I personally never had any, but I think of it often.
