I had 3 packages seized and the postal inspector came to my house and tried to get me to open them. I pled the fifth and told them to leave. So I'm guessing this address is friend and i can't use it anymore? What about my name? does that set off any alarm bells? Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Also, can they seize rc chemicals? there not technically illegal. Thanks.

if you’re in the US, while a lot of rcs are a grey area due to being “not for human consumption”, most of them do fall under the Analogue Act, and can be seized and treated all the same as illegal chems. if they seize it they won’t let it thru on a legal technicality. to them 1p-l$d is the same as good ole L$d. that address is burned tho for sure, at least for the next decade.

if they tried to hit ya with a controlled delivery on stuff you have no idea what it is and didn’t order you should be fine if you refused the package. anyone can mail anyone anything at any time, so a pack being in your name generally isn’t enough. so long as you never sign for it, admit ownership, or claim the package, they can’t prove YOU ordered it. crazy that someone sent random ass mail to your address

your name, at a different address, would eventually be fine cause more than one person can have the same name. tho if more mail for the same name came in at a different address in the same town, or even state, i wouldn’t expect it to make it thru.

cut your losses and be glad you just lost some packs and nothing else and make sure no one sends random mail you didn’t order to your address again

i had an order from lysergi during their closure sale in sept 2018 for 4-ăCö-dmŦ get seized by canada customs and they returned it to me without any intervention seven months later in one of those inspection parcels, all chems in tact with the appropriate paperwork from supplier

huh well i’ll eat my words on that bit then, can’t say i’ve heard of that happening before now. i certainly wouldn’t bank on that being the case when a pack gets seized, but good to know that does actually happen

i also had a domestic thc mag get seized outright with the red tracking and all, even got a big spooky lov3 letter envelope. reship from the same exact location with the same exact product made it to the same exact address that was flagged 3 days prior and not a damn thing came of it. this was well over 5+ years ago. there is a LOT of nuance that goes into this whole "burned address" thing. the reship didn't even get held up, it went through like nothing happened.

that’s interesting, i imagine there’s a lot of factors involved yeah. the specific workers handling it, how quickly it moves, the type and amount of mail ya get normally. i’ve kinda lucked out that i’ve only ever gotten one love letter/seized pack. tho if i had 3 packs seized and an attempted controlled delivery all right in quick succession like OP i wouldn’t bank on the legal grey area saving me. may not be perma burned, but i wouldn’t even risk grey market RCs for a while in his case. but you’re right, it’s definitely not that cut and dry

@TheNinez the pexact thing happened to my friend….exact same thing. Exact same number old mags. Can’t use that stork anymore for that addy. Too risky. Not sure if they flag names but wouldn’t try the addy with that specific stork again. Good on u knowing how to handle it. We have write ups on this forum to explain the same thing - how to handle this situation. It’s domestic when they come to u. For the person who asked. Love letters are for across the pond.

P.S. they want u to open ur presents bc they can’t utilize search authority for ur place. If u open they do have it. If they had warrant they don’t need to ask. My friend told them to go get one and then come back. Since they had no proof they couldn’t.

@AnnaSofia you are exactly right. they asked to come in and watch me open them. HELL NAH lmao, gtfo my property I didn't order them.

@lexxbell so you think if i order to an address an hour away theres a good chance its still burned? Im hoping misspelling my name and using another address would be enough to get through.

What about UPS and Fed Ex? Do they communicate burned addresses? The seizure was through USPS. And I also received a letter for each package basically saying that some sugar was seized that had my address on it.

personally? wouldn’t risk it. i’d feel like unless it’s a fully different package addressed to some one else, they might snipe it.

UPS and FedEx are private companies and reserve the right to open any package sent thru them. That doesn’t mean they WILL tho. USPS needs consent/probable cause to open any mail sent thru them.

it might suck but after getting 3 packs seized in a row and an attempted controlled delivery i wouldn’t be ordering shit in my name. if it’s “usual” mail addressed to a different person at a different address, it’s prolly fine. but i’d wait a bit before ordering anything else. love letters are no big deal, but controlled deliveries are a different ballgame. basically i’d tread lightly.

Yep that’s correct.. the other carriers can open whatever they want but they don’t just have dogs hanging out in the sorting line. I know this through my friends friends. Unless sugar was pouring out of it it’s not likely. They like to keep it moving. The only flag I can think of is of there’s a couple days delay.

It was bc u had so many in the air especially from same origin. Another flag is if u check on a missing pack or if wrong stamp is put on envelope. For ex: a slow label is put on fast envelope. Don’t ask me why that’s a flag but I think it’s bc it will circle around and around and that prompts people to call about it. They told me friend that my friend knew the packs were coming bc of ID showing pics of what’s on horizon, and my friend was like uhhh no u don’t see pics of packs… that’s only letter mail. And who’s to say my friend looked at ID and knew what was In it? Like someone else said we can’t help what people send. My friend couldn’t help what scorned lovers sent to innocent people. Dummy. Nice try though.

Yeah my friend told them to go do what they needed to do and they will too and they left. Never to be heard from Again. But my friend called a lawyer and to be safe went to a detox in case they came back. Bc they will and can search anything on ur property including cars. Lawyer gave some good advice about making sure to store some things off property for a week or so after a visit just in case … things that would make it difficult to earn a living if someone took. My friend was terrified.

But time will pass and u may be tempted. My friend never used them again. And then funny enough a pack came from overseas for a household member with some innocent items and that didn’t get looked at. When my friend answered the door the mailman gave her pack and she like involuntarily dropped it on ground like it was an hot potato and said I’m not touching shit! 🤣

My personal opinion is there isn’t communication between carriers unless it’s some Goodfellas type shit going on. Not over a featherweight envelope. That doesn’t mean there may not be risk still involved.

@AnnaSofia Im assuming there wouldnt be any "goodfellas" type investigation going on unless there was a massive amount of illegal goods or very dangerous at low dosage goods correct? Why would they go after small amounts?

@lexxbell bell The three packages "reportable were sent within a day of each other". Almost like someone is setting me up hey? Again, why would they go after a tiny parcel?

Appreciate everyone's 2 cents btw

I dont think it's so much that theyre going after a tiny parcel as it is that theyre going after whoever shipped it and they are trying to use customers as a way in. It could also just be something as simple as what someone else mentioned, 3 were shipped internationally all within a close time period. Theres so many variables to packs getting seized it's impossible to know what the reason is and you definitely dont want it to get to the point where they are telling you the reason. My suggestion is dont order again to your address. It's possible that a different name/address would work just fine but id be more concerned that theyre tracking packs from a specific person rather than to a specific person and you dont want to get caught up in that.

Well they can still try to get authority but that’s up to court if they want to waste all that manpower on an envelope haha unless they been watching a while but in that case they’d have to let u receive numerous magazines and the proof is gone by then. Funny when it happened to my friend 2 mags were just small amount of shr00mz lol. From what I know they already have a piece of paper when they come but they can’t use it till u open ur Xmas gifts. They don’t go get it after u open them in front of them (which u didn’t do) bc then u have time to toss anything else u have, move things off property, etc. my friends lawyer said if it’s been like a few days and no word, they gave up. That’s why thru try so hard to get u to open the gifts. There are really good couple of In depth wrote ups on internet ..there’s one easy to find then one required some digging but it was more detailed. Everyone on this board should know this stuff. I can’t stress it enough.

I think that’s just a lie they tell about going for a bigger fish bc they know it’s like impossible to find them when it’s small gifts. And they know when it’s not a face to face gift exchange that u don’t know shit about the gifter.

That’s why the gifters aren’t as paranoid as receivers of gift not showing up or something. For example my friend has had gifter tell her to contact carriers to find her gifts. BAD IDEA. It only goes against plausible deniability.

@TheNinez Yes…. I think there is one in this shipping and tracking forum with a link.

Yep…look in the shipping forum under the packages and safety thread. I think it’s the second page in shipping and tracking and I wrote the initial entry but included the link to what someone else wrote. I believe it’s directly copied from internet. The other one I had to do digging but haven’t found it… I think it was In a legal forum for my state. But the other link I mentioned first is good enough. I think the user Mr. Crowley crafted the post.

  4. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: AKA are such a bunch of fucking capitalist traitors. The liquor lobby has a lot of money in this as well.
  5. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: The major plain leaf companies and the AKA are the ones lobbying against 7 and the other semi-sythetic derivatives, mgm this that and the other. We all know the chemist are just gonna mess with the scaffolding of the compounds and come out with new and even better semi-sythetic alkoloids of kratom. They are already playing with cats-claw
  6. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @moai just asked chatgpeetea and it looks like plain leaf kratom is safe, they arent banning it. Just 7-Hydroxymitragynine, MGM15 ,16 , and pseudoindoxyl
  7. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: Wait... @moai they are federally banning plain leaf kratom too???
  8. moai @ moai: @MorphineOrfan how fucking stupid is this shit. We better see some new shit come out, I’m most upset about banning regular kratom because really? Millions of people have got off hard opioids with it. They must want everyone on methadone instead.

  13. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @RiftChems well sr-17018 is an orphine analogue after all, and they are banning all orphines so that makes sense. Orphines are spiking the OD death rates majorly these past few months.
