Has anybody suffered tinnitus from benzo withdrawal?

I started having tinnitus for (what I thought was) unknown reason, then I discovered it can be from benzo withdrawal, & benzos do put things right.

Just wondering about others' experience.

I guess I first experienced it after about 6 months on etizolam, about 10mg/day. I did taper own & am generally ok now wit occcasional use, but the tinnitus persists.

 
@mickuk It is a common symptom. My experience is that benzo withdrawal can take a while, have you tried taking a benzo with a longer half life? Etizolam is rather potent and short lasting, so I wouldn't be surprised if you were still in a state of mild withdrawal while not on it. I found an article about it, doesn't say much but if it helps in any way.
