hello everyone, glad to have stumbled on to this site.  a little background info on myself. i hurt my back in 2006 and had surgery for a herniated disc shortly after. the surgery went well in the fact that i was able to stand upright again. but the pain continues to be a major problem.  anyhow i have been going to an orthopedic doctor for 10 years now for nerve blocks once a month, and a script of 60 7.5/325 ES along with s0ma. well on my last visit i get my injections and when the hand me my scripts, i noticed they changed  my script to nsaids and a little piece of paper saying "the CDC prolonged  use of scheduled medicines  has no benifits.  after 10 years how can my dr. just up and stop my meds. no explenation no dialog nothing. and with my medical history i shouldnt even be taking nsaids.  i have high blood pressure and long long list of GI problems, and since starting the new meds. i can feel them  eating my stomache up all ready, along with the throbbing of the back of my neck from it elevating my blood pressure. is there any recourse i have? i dont think its my doctor, because he never refused me anything in the past. how can the CDC interfere with the meds my dr prescribes? do you think i have a lawsuit? im past the withdrawl, but my pain continues and its to the point i cannot do the things i need to get done.  this dr. just didnt take my meds but all 300+ patients. is it possible we have a class action suit? or should i just drop it. and get him or my PC, to refer me to a PM clinic? llooking forward on your thoughts and feedback. thanks  everyone.

Welcome to DBG. My pcp no longer prescribes any narcotic pain relievers (npr). Instead, they write referrals to pain clinics. The pain clinics are super tough to get npr from, at least in my neck of the woods. Sounds like your doc may have experienced some regulation constraints based off of the change in not only your meds, but all of the patience at the practice. You are in the right place to find a source to replenish your meds. Read everything! I am new too and have been lurking for about a week or so and I am still soaking up info. Happy searching and best wishes.

@busa. Welcome. Sorry to hear about your ordeal. If your pcp does not refer you to a pain specialist. You always have the option to pay cash. I don't know if that works for you. Just do some research because I went to one that plain and simple sucked. I was getting 10mg N from primary and stated I needed more than my usual 30 a month. So the pain specialist gave me 5mg Ns. Same thing I didn't realize until I left. Boy was I pissed. I payed $180 for visit and signed a contract stating that I could not see another physician for pain meds for at least 30 days.

However, I now go to one that is a lot more sympathetic. So do your research and don't make the same mistake I did. I have to drive about an hour But it is worth it!

  12. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: Set a reasonable limit. Hell fucking make it like buying cold medicine where they swipe your id and you can't get a bunch. But we know this isn't about logic or public safety. It's about money and control.
  13. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: AKA are such a bunch of fucking capitalist traitors. The liquor lobby has a lot of money in this as well.
  14. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: The major plain leaf companies and the AKA are the ones lobbying against 7 and the other semi-sythetic derivatives, mgm this that and the other. We all know the chemist are just gonna mess with the scaffolding of the compounds and come out with new and even better semi-sythetic alkoloids of kratom. They are already playing with cats-claw
  15. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @moai just asked chatgpeetea and it looks like plain leaf kratom is safe, they arent banning it. Just 7-Hydroxymitragynine, MGM15 ,16 , and pseudoindoxyl
  16. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: Wait... @moai they are federally banning plain leaf kratom too???
  17. moai @ moai: @MorphineOrfan how fucking stupid is this shit. We better see some new shit come out, I’m most upset about banning regular kratom because really? Millions of people have got off hard opioids with it. They must want everyone on methadone instead.
