Horrific Teeth Pain

Hi all, I’m having really really bad teeth pain. Like worst toothache of your life kind of ordeal, and it’s in at least 5 teeth which migrate from tooth to tooth and if I’m really lucky, all of them at once, but only on one side of my mouth.  I’ve been having health issues for the last 6m, including full body inflammation, and I’m speculating that is what’s going on with my teeth as well. It’s the only logical thing I can think of. I do have a bad tooth on that side, but it’s not infected, so that is probably why that side hurts more than normal but not explaining the other teeth both top and bottom.

My question is.... is there anything that I can do to ease the pain?  I’m almost overdosing on orajel as I’m desperate.  It helps a little but not a lot. I also found putting ice cold water in my mouth helps temporarily.  I’ve taken Tylenol, meloxicam and a strong opioid pain reliever as well to no avail. I cannot afford to go to a dentist as my insurance does not cover it.

Does anyone else know of anything that may help? I’m in SO MUCH PAIN!

Thanks

If @Admin would let me send to you @jtab I have Magic Mouthwash I got by my dentist in a prescription for it. I know I dm'd you about it. Or ask your dentist to write you for it. It is 5% lidocaine and makes your mouth numb all day but definitely helps. Are you sure that it is not an infection in that case antibiotics are in order.

Much love and I hope you are feeling better. Hev

If you're in the USA, free clinics are in most major and even minor cities that you don't need insurance for, and if they ask for your social you can act like you don't know it to ensure it doesn't end up as a hit to your credit or get charged as a debt to you. I'm having to do the same for dental aid myself because I have no insurance and can't afford it.

I've found Ketanov to be particularly effective for tooth pain. Though it might depend on the cause of the pain.

I have pretty bad toothache myself, my root canal is scheduled for two days from now though! Sorry to hear what you are going through!! Something my dentist told me to try on top of painkillers/amoxilian to kill the bacteria was pure clove oil and put it on a cotton ball and slightly bite down on it with on the tooth/area thats hurting. supposed to be a strong numbing agent. Again, i am lucky as just the amoxilian, naproxen, ipuprofen is helping enough to get me through this time, but i wish i would have known that in the past i would def give it a shot.

  14. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 lol I am actually surprised it is a real ID. I needed those documents because my license had been expired for over a year and I had to start all over. Nothing was in the system. It was a huge mess. I had no clue I was signing up for Real ID. They asked me for the exact same documents that I needed for a State ID Card.
  15. S @ soupson: bless your heart buddy. no sense of grammar or proper insults/jokes. you need this place in ways i can’t comprehend
  16. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Sweet Ol' Me asked about Real ID, Stoup. Are you responsive to emails ? LMAO
  17. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: I smell some Stoup. Is Stoup's on ?
  18. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda You win. I am lost. Thought you were surprised your license was a Real ID, now you say you provided those items.
  19. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda I was under the impression that you'd need all of the points to get a real ID . I'd check it's validity if you're gonna fly domestic any time soon, just to make sure. Not to tell you what to do, sorry -
  20. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 In my state to get a Real ID, I need SS card, Birth Certificate and two proofs of residency. Which I am positive I had to provide to get a new ID when it had been expired.
