How to keep track of Mags that don't give tn???

Some companies provide you the info you need but a lot don't. One time I thought I was reading the ol brown hug of God magazine and it happened to be D.M.T. 2008 guide. Thank God I didn't.....ya know.

Multi new mags and multi subscriptions, it's impossible to keep track of and can get some people in real dark water.

Idk why either color coordinate or some other way. I get no TN, can't tell me when to expect it and I have 5 subscription showing up.

I actually have/had concerns about this also. This being my first venture into self-published subscriptions, I decided to checkout 2 different publications. Surprisingly, the second publisher gave me a TN.

But I honestly have no idea what to expect. It's kind of one of those things, you don't want to look like an idiot and come off cool, but you have so many unanswered questions. I've also worked in retail and know how damn aggravating it can be to get the same questions over and over again.

But half of these post half me wondering if the actual magazine is consumed in some parts of the world.

In the end I decided to just play it out and wait. If I can't figure it out, I'll break down and ask one of the vendors. That was before the TN obviously.

Both vendors were nice to deal with and I felt comfortable ordering from them. Only one vendor rubbed me the wrong way so far and I chose not to order their reading materials.

I know it’s been awhile since you posted this, but I hope you got your reading materials!

My general rule of thumb for subscribing is something like this..

1) If I place a subscription and I need to receive the address to send payment… I take whenever I sent the email, fast forward to tomorrow, and wait for another business day before following up. If I don’t hear back in 2 days after, I give up. Bad first impression.

2) If I made the subscription, paid and all… Domestic, I take date of subscription paid, fast forward to tomorrow, then take 8 business days. Ex: subscription on Weds night (4/15), fast forward to tomorrow (4/16), 8 business days would be that Friday, Mon - Friday, and Monday/Tuesday, and if by Tuesday evening (4/28) I don’t have my mags, or a tracking number, I follow up. Int’l gets an extra week.

I know those dates seem… long. But honestly, for 0p$ec and just giving the publisher a break if something is up with them, it’s reasonable. I always like to remind myself that readers expect good publishers, so publishers should expect our best as well. Hope this answers your question!

PS, wonder if I have the vendor who rubbed you the wrong way in mind, haha. I can think of one or 2

Informed informed informed, i completely understand having multiple mags show up and keeping track if you're unable for the location they're supposed to be published at. Thankfully with the color coded edition of different magazines coming off the press i havent ran into that particular predicament. I'd only confused my books of how to train your horse and how to be a good coca farmer. Great reads, a bit confusing when i realize im reading the wrong book lol

Id be more concerned of the person using UP$. They can open any package they want, U5P5 is bound by fed3r@l l@w they cant open anything. Ive had one box torn open a bit which me uneasy but I chalked it up to caught in s0rt1ing m@chinery.

I’m sorry bro it happens to the best of us. Will say in my decade of doing this shit on and off I have never had a legit vendor use UP$. I am so sorry again bro. Idk if you paid in bitcoin but if you somehow paid with a debit card or did a bank wire, contact your bank and try and get it back. I’ve done it successfully a few times. Nothing worse than a scammer, they know we are desperate and often dependent and there is a special place in hell for people that take your hard earned money when you’re already in a bad spot.

First of all thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it. I made my purchase with XMR, so unfortunately I can’t do anything with my bank right now. I’ve been back in contact with my old vendor again and have already received a couple of my orders, absolutely 10/10. It’s such a relief to finally deal with someone reliable after running into scammers. Experiences like this make you more cautious but also thankful when you find the right people.
