To add to the recent post about post office being back in full force, I read today back logged mail is expected to be cleared up in 15-20 days so there still may be hope for us waiting on packages from sept that got pilled up from the postal strike mess. Thought I'd share! Maybe I'm just im optimist but still going to hold out hope my package will be delivered with in a month. I've placed an order that shipped today and will probably arrive sooner but that's okay even if septembers package never arrives after years of ordering that would be my only package not delivered so it's a small price to pay for the convienience and well service ttm has provided me.

Nice to see some helpful and encouraging information mixed in with the countless "still waiting" posts.

Thanks for the helpful tips on the email addys.  I appreciate the information.  I'll set up a safe mail address and see if I can make some progress with TTM.

Does anyone know if the strike affected only September letters?

Also, anyone order around 10/15 still waiting? I know it's still a little early to be expecting it now but I'm just curious.

Very good to know. Maybe I will see it today or tomorrow. What region are you if you don't mind?

It's only been 2 weeks for you. The strike was still affecting mail on Oct 15 so you may have to wait longer than usual but not nearly as bad as Sept orders. Just have a bit of patience. It will show up.

From a July order??? Where the F has the package been? Probably some lazy civil service worker just getting around it to sending the letter.

Hope you did not lose a lot. First LL?

I got my one and only like 15 years and 3 previous addresses ago.

Got an LL on what I'm assuming was my 9/29 order today.  According to the LL they snagged it on 10/23.  I love the way our government lets Ebola infected people in to do as they please but a guy that works hard, pays taxes and just wants to chill out with a couple @lps in the evening gets f**ked.  Headbanger, you are lucky.  I've had two this year from east and west.  I think I'm out of the game for a while....I just can't afford to throw that kind of cash away and certainly do not blame TTM.  They have been great.  I have two more that never arrived so I can't be for certain that that is the one but I'm pretty sure these are the 9/29s.  On a positive note, that means some of you may be seeing yours arriving from late September.  Good luck to you all!!  I'm just going to have to ween back.

Ben won't the insurance cover the confiscation? Maybe have it sent to a friends house.

btw I haven't been ordering non stop for 15 years just saying that's when I got my one and only.

100% with TTM. Not trying to make you feel bad guy.

Sounds like you my need a back up plan. If you're going to get really jammed up maybe you gotta drop a few $$ and go south. It's better than running out.

Headbanger, I didn't get insurance.  My orders are usually under 100 duckets so I never saw the need.  No, no, you aren't making me feel bad at all.  I always keep a supply as I learned a long time ago what running out is like!!  My first LL was over the summer and from a vendor in the Islands of General MacArthur and they did a re-ship and I got those after I scanned the letter and sent it to them.  They didn't have to do that so I thought that was pretty cool and the resend came through smooth as silk.  You can PM me if you want the details of who that was.  Fortunately, I do get a screeept from my d@c but I went through a divorce and upped me ante.  You know how it goes.  I've had three not come through with TTM but only one had a LL- I'm almost convinced the others were stolen by some mail person somewhere.  I've got nothing but good things to say about TT as 95% of mine came through.

My purpose for posting was not to get people to feel bad for me but to give those in wait hope.  If I got an LL then most are going to get a package and I agree with CatInthehat about all the "still waiting" posts.  That doesn't tell anyone anything.  If you get it or an LL then post!!  I've always posted when I got something and still stick by that rule.  So, again, all you 9/29ers out there keep your eyes pealed because good things may be happening soon!!  I've got some @lps and K p1ns so I'm not worried.  It just sucks losing cash and not getting the goodies but TT states clearly so you know how it is played out before you order.  I think if I go again it will be really large and I'll just get the insurance.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words!  You made me feel better and that's what this place is all about!!!  Oh, and thanks for the advice, that isn't far for me!

If I see one more person say "it can't be MM, they are lifers who get busted for that sort of thing" I'll "go postal" on here. I live in a rural place where it used to be common for my black plastic covered Playboy mags to have obvious human finger pokes and rips to see what was inside. My state has very conservative porn rules and I know it was the local PO workers doing their own brand of enforcing the rules. Adam & Eve won't even ship "massage devices" here. I know it's off topic but tired of seeing the "PO workers won't do that" bs. Lucky for me they are apparently more concerned about magazines than letters and my shipments, aside from late Sept., have all made it untampered. I'm with you in believing some letters don't make it due to PO workers. The part time delivery person will sometimes leave RM packages in my box while they require a signature, but at least they are left so it doesn't matter to me, but I could claim they didn't make it if I were that type of person.

You should try to find the postmark on the envelope and it will tell you the date when the envelope was shipped. Sometimes they are smeared or smudged or just very hard to read altogether but if you can find postmark then you should get an answer. Usually you can atleast make the month and year out. Just a thought. Sorry to hear about LL either way.

Sounds like it could be their July letter though. As the other person above got one in July as well..

Edit- one from* July as well

Sounds like people better start making back up plans just in case. A lot of us know what happens if we run out early. And the holiday rush is almost here and that could cause further package delays.

If I needed certain meds, I would start now procuring enough in case my #1 or #2 vendor craps out. Buy anything that will get you buy even if it's not your favorite - it's better than nothing.

By waiting to order in Dec you could wait a month or more especially if the delivery chain clogs up.

Just my opinion.

Just when I was ready to place an order, he's out of what I wanted.

Does anyone know if his supply changes often or if he's possibly just temporarily out?

  4. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢

  7. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Damn. Just heard Robert Duvall passed away Sunday. That’s a tough one. He’s one of my favorite actors. From Lonesome Dove to the Godfather and many others. We will miss you Mr Duvall. You entertained us for 7 decades. RIP
  8. L @ Layne_Cobain: @ClintEastwood make a post about it homie they’re gonna take down your message here cuz shout box isn’t really for talking shop just random shooting the shit exc but yeh just put your message in a post on the forum in the appropriate place and ppl will get at you! 👊 ✌️
  9. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Just wondering if anyone well trusted has a supply of research thienos or benz in powders for good average prices? Or could give a shout out from me to him? Or the best lowest per each? I’ve seen some cool and some i just know are worth it. Good price rv presses too but it is much more bang for your buck. I have one good vendor. 10. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I always thought I should’ve been born in a much earlier time but I will say, i do enjoy my Xbox and occasional TV series tho 😂
  11. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I just wish the opioid epidemic never happened. Fk the turn of the century (which would be cool no doubt)! Many of my friends and family would’ve ended up in asylums like so many others. I just wish I could get back all those I’ve lost since the start
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: 1914 I meant
  13. L @ Layne_Cobain: I often wish I lived during the turn of the century or at least before the Harrison narcotics act or whatever I think it was 1924 the fun ended but anyway yeh being able to get laudanum, ❄️ and amphetamine at the local friendly pharmacy
  14. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Chew on the leaves with a bit of slaked lime and enjoy the mild boost you get from the raw base.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I’m sure you know the folks in the mountainous regions along South Americas pacific side buy cócà leaves at the local farmers market just to help acclimate to the higher elevation when they have to head up into the hills.
  16. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I would certainly have bought it, swilled it, enjoyed it…. Why not? A little boost in your juice isn’t going to hurt anyone.
  17. R @ Royboy99: Exports were reported to have around 7.2mg per FL OZ, it’s success is what actually led to Coca Cola
  18. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Having cramps and husband thinks you’re acting hysterical (ie. PMS) the doc would either perform a certain massage to relieve the strains of motherhood and family life of that time or send you down to the local apothecary for a bottle of laudanum… A tincture of alcohol and 10% òpìųm. Fun days huh?
  19. R @ Royboy99: @malestrom: yeah thats it, my bad Mariani, yeah i considered that and also its ROA, which was oral so the bioavailability was lower than insufflation, higher degree of purity tho and longer duration … there was a significant marked increase of patents filed by Edison during the time it was released in the US. Presidents were known to use it as well, and the Queen. The pope awarded the wine the Vatican gold medal award
  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
