Perhaps the British government is looking for new fine opportunities? I mean, what with an expanding royal family and all. Gotta pay for the monarchy somehow, no?!
Haha!! Took the words right out of my mouth!

So, how does the Wookie go about being appointed to the peerage? Wonder how the queen would feel about a furry Duke??

Well my Mom's side of the family are all from England and assure me the queen would enjoy having a furry Duke around!

What are the Wookie's thoughts regarding this seemingly wondrous development?

About same risk as usual?  More risk (if USA) ?   You always have interesting insight into these situations.

I don't know that I have any unique insight that hasn't already been said by the likes of DGSB and others. In terms of their site having gone down and now reappeared, and the circumstances surrounding this chain of events, it's all pretty much what I expected. Their registrar reseller is Anonymous Speech, who works under contract through the world's largest registrar, Enom, who has a compliance agreement with Legit Script. Their portfolio is so large that it's impossible to manually review every single domain on an ongoing basis. So, when TTM's host, also Anonymous Speech, performed their customary, periodic server change (one of their risk mitigation techniques), all of their hosted sites had to repropogate, which likely trigged some internal alert with Enom, causing the domain to be locked. While not a technical, legal seizure, the net effect is the same, as Enom, via agreement with the .com TLD administrator, Verisign, can, and obviously will, take down and hold domains in locked status indefinitely if they suspect impropriety. Given the fact that no one will ever put up a legal battle to get back a domain name for a site such as this, it effectively kills the domain name. Anyway, TTM's response to register a new domain and reconstruct their site from a backup was exactly what I expected, and candidly, given the e-commerce / customer account functionality of the site and it's obvious size and scope, I'm impressed that it only took this long to get it back up. That's the review of past events portion.

The second part of the story is what happens going forward. The answer to that is a rousing "who knows?". The domain issue discussed above is a stand alone issue at the domain registration level, and by no means indicates some broader LE action. On the hand other, it doesn't mean that they aren't under close scrutiny and investigation. Based on the postings of stories describing South Africa's seemingly proactive enforcement measures in this area, coupled with statements about how they are "working closely with US customs" (paraphrase), my personal opinion would be that yes, any and all packages from this part of the world will be receiving additional scrutiny. Not simply TTM's, but any package originating in that region. Does that mean that many, or a majority, of TTM's customers will experience enforcement seizures, or worse? No. I don't see any reason to believe that. The fact of the matter is that enforcement budgets and resources are limited, and the digital age has ushered in with it a massive tidal wave of global commerce shipments across every industry imaginable, and there simply is no way that even a modest percentage of parcels can be closely scrutinized. The man power and budgetary resources simply aren't there. Will we hear of more enforcement seizures than before? Possibly. Probably to some degree, particularly in jurisdictions like the UK that have dedicated more resources to the issue, but I just don't see it as being something truly game changing at the present time.

All of the above being said, there are no guarantees in this industry, and as DGSB pointed out, anytime a large vendor like this goes down, for whatever reason, and then reemerges, one should always be cautious before diving back into the water. The analogy I would use is that of when the lifeguard sets off the "Shark Alert" on the beach, and then an hour or so later gives the all clear. In all likelihood, the sharks are gone, and it's safe to return to the water, but would you want to be one of the first few people who return to test the waters? I would say the same logic applies here, and is the area of greatest potential concern to our members. At least in the short term until it becomes clear that they have safely returned to business as usual.

Excellent! Prince Phillip better keep an eye on her. That totty, errr, I mean "Her Majesty"  will be arse over elbows for this supple, well conditioned fur coat in no time!

My last order was checked by customs and declared safe. I got the post after 20 days without any problems. You can certainly see what I ordered at the color of the pills ..../default_wink.png
Therefore, no reason to be paranoid. On the green customs stamp is written "cleared customs official" ...
TTM know what they do, perfectly packaged!  /default_biggrin.png

LOL! International Wookie!

And I am 50% or more English... So the arses over elbows just comes naturally to me!

Haven't browsed this topic for a while and am have been reading the past 10 pages of posts about the site change with a big grin on my face (possibly Diaz induced).

A song comes to mind from the Smiths: Panic.

Panic on the streets of London
Panic on the streets of Birmingham
I wonder to myself
Could life ever be sane again ? (without benz0's  /default_rolleyes.gif )
But thank God the site is back up and the panic has subdued. Hope TTM lasts- they're top notch. Am 5/5 with them and luckily don't have to worry for a very long time about running out of meds.

May the force be with them....

Bless you all.

Anyone get the firefox warning when going to the new site?  Is that standard and is it safe to continue?  Maybe I'm just being overly cautious...but wanted advice before continuing...

There is no valid certificate for "https" more. The page is nevertheless safe. You can ignore this warning, it will appear on all browsers ... /default_wink.png

The page is NOT nevertheless safe without an SSL.  IT means your CC info is going over the Internet unencrypted and can be seen by anyone monitoring your traffic (or the site's traffic) and trust me people are monitoring your traffic and theirs... I don't mean LE, I just mean people who do that stuff... hackers, ID thieves etc..... come on.

So you're right, but I do not think anyone an SSL certificate issued for this page. At the old site which now was so, but certainly not more.
Order only with a prepaid credit card. Either you run the risk or you can stay there. It is up to you. I have no paranoia because I have a prepaid credit card and mailing address, you can all see.

I got the same warning from Firefox but it was ok when I made the exception.

Heck, I got a warning about dbg, too.   LOL

Hi all. I know this is old news, but still waiting on order posted on the 3rd. Anybody else still in this position?

I understand what you're saying about it being "ok" in terms of functionality, but as DGSB accurately stated, providing credit card information via a web page without a valid SSL certificate leaves your information unencrypted and vulnerable to hackers, ID thieves, etc. The issues of functionality and security of your data are separate issues.
And as far as DBG generating the same warning, again, it's a different matter entirely, as no credit card information is involved.

  15. L @ Layne_Cobain: @maoi thanks for the input tho I think I’d def go the route of using hcg if I do go w TrT
  16. L @ Layne_Cobain: @maoi nah no fear of needles and if it made me feel a lot better no fear of being on it long term as who knows if my t will even rebound after 5 years on methadone not sure if that’s the norm I hope so…the more I research the more it seems like the best choice is to just go for it with TrT rather than trying to “middle” with Enclomiphene especially now that i know it probably won’t work being on methadone altho I am tapering off 5 mg biweekly so that’ll take a while I’m at 95 now from 120
  17. moai @ moai: @Layne_Cobain the longer you’re on it without using HCG sometimes, (meaning years) the harder it will be to rebound if you do come off. But I’m with you, at only 22, I’ve abused myself to the point I may NEED trt. Not to mention all of the benefits
  18. moai @ moai: @Layne_Cobain You don’t seem it, but if you are the type that’s afraid of needles for life, don’t sweat it. I’m natty atm, but from what I hear A) you won’t want to come off and B) if you implement HCG every once in a while to your protocol, you have a better chance of being able to come off T completely and restore all (or most) of your natty production. Of course, no guarantees and it is dependent on the individual, genetics, compounds and duration of exposure, etc.
  19. L @ Layne_Cobain: @tiquanunderwood when you began the Enclomiphene, were you already off opiates? Cause after further research I don’t think it’ll even work while still on methadone…I think trt with hcg to preserve fertility and ball size is the way to go for me. I just wanna feel better. Thanks for your input on the matter btw
