I thought I had already posted but I can't find it for some reason. Sorry for the double post if so..

Ordered/shipped & postmarked 3/4

Arrived 3/13

all accounted for, great quality meds. No surprise here... Like I said I've used these guy's a few times in the past.. Now if only I could get the letter from my other vendor I'm waiting on.

@Hallucinogenios and anybody else who might not already know this and it could be quite a few people because most payment methods for IOP's are WU and MG. It's the exception rather than the rule for an IOP to only accept VISA and MC for payment. In any case the bank who issues your credit or debit card will require a 15% buffer or cushion for purchases made from a company located in a country other than the one you live in if that country uses a different currency, however it is not a charge. It's just an authorization that will be credited back to your card in a few days depending on the bank.

Let's use a simple example. Assuming you purchased $100 worth of vitamins and supplements (including shipping) to help out with your diet and exercise program from a company outside the country you live in and that country uses a different currency. The bank will require a 15% buffer to account for currency fluctuations and the currency conversion once the transaction settles. That means for a $100 purchase your card has to have $115 in available funds ($100 x 15%) even though the actual charge is only $100 so if you don't have enough for the total plus 15% on your card the bank will decline the purchase. Also TTM lists their prices in USD so using the same example if it says $100 is the total when you check out the final charge might be a few dollars more when the transaction settles and the two different currencies are converted.

The bottom line is that you need enough in available funds to cover the order amount, shipping charges and 15% of what the previous two things I just listed add up to or the transaction will be declined and canceled. It's the same thing that car rental companies, hotels and some restaurants do.

Many thanks for the detailed response, I knew nothing about this 15% buffer fee at all.

Would have sketched me out as being overcharged when looking at my statement.

If i wanted to avoid having to give my bank any information what so ever, if I were to buy a prepaid visa, and use that in the same manner, would I have to somehow authorize the payment since its out of country? Or only if I'm using a real card, attached to a bank account?

At any rate - Thanks for the info! It will be used.

First things first, where are you located? BTW let's not mention anything further about any particular IOP or where they are located. Also the 15% is not a fee. It's just a temporary authorization and it would not be listed on your line item statement. What would happen is your available balance would be less than your current balance until the pending authorization was lifted.

Also no matter how trustworthy an IOP may seem I would never use my regular credit or debit card to make a purchase. You want to get a pre-paid debit card and only load the order amount plus the 15% buffer (don't forget to include the shipping charges when calculating the 15%) that way nobody has your real credit or debit card info.

You also have to consider which pre-paid card to get. They all have some sort of load and monthly fees but some charge more than others. If you Google 'pre-paid debit cards' you will find sites that compare cards and tell you which ones are the best. Unfortunately the IOP in question does not accept AMEX and they have the best pre-paid cards available. The AMEX Serve card has the lowest fees of all the pre-paid cards available, however AMEX is not an option. Also there are one-time temporary pre-paid cards and permanent ones that get mailed to your house. You want to get the permanent version. These types of pre-paid cards can be found at virtually any drugstore, supermarket, places like Walmart, etc. I hope this helps.

Useful information and exactly what these threads and the community is here for sharing information and helping others.

HI Zee Bar and welcome!

I saw your welcome post and I like you already, so many people come to these website with the wrong attitude but you seem to get it straight away. So hope you prosper from the information that can be learned here.

also add that top10 are one of the most professional IOP's I have worked with ( excluding there silly inclusion of H*y*C*D*N) the quality ranges from good to outstanding on most products prices are decent unless you like to buy bulk like 200+ in which case there are maybe better options.

Don't most( if not all) of the prepaid CC's require you to provide a lot of personal information? I'm not that pleased with vendors who only take CC's because the transaction leads right back to me.The prepaids require just as much personal info so in my opinion prepaids don't provide any more security - just convienance

Let me know if I'm misinformed caused I don't want to give the community bogus info that could hurt us in the end.

disclaimer: I try for correct spelling and grammar but really don't give a rat's ass if I'm correct. Everyone knows what I'm trying to say.

Yes these days you have to provide ss# address and all the other info. The only real benefit to using them is you can just load them for the amount of your order so you don't get all of your money ripped off by a scumbag vendor. P.S. get a haircut /default_biggrin.png

The card om looking at infront of me right now says its unusable at vendors outside of the US, but its your typical reloadable prepaid Visa. Does this mean in person transactions outside of the US? I dont want to load the card and then not be able to use it :S.

As was mentioned ealier TT is not able to accept Green Dot cards now. I'm not sure why, someone said the GD co. has flagged them, but whatever the reason it's not an option atm so don't waste the money if you're looking for a PP card to use at TT.

Not GreenDot either.. What fucking option does that leave me with? None I've been googling for the past half hour on reload-able CC's that can be used internationally, even if I have to wait a week to get the personalized card with my information.

I suppose I could always open up a second checking account, with a second debit card, and just keep that balance at 0 until I wanted to order something internationally. I could fill it up with the proper amount then, get it OK'd by the bank, and then reduce the balance back to 0.

Other then that I'm becoming extremely frustrated. Been trying to order from this IOP for 3 days already.

Same here, I'm 3 for 3. All over 10 days... But arrives everytime.
Sorry if this has been asked and answered - locked through multiple pages and didn't find answer - has anyone had to use the insurance and it was successful?  Would only consider buying it for a relatively big order . . .

Thanks,

Jen

Just spent the last 20 minutes on the phone with Western Union trying to get one of their prepaid mastercards, that works internationally after you get the permanent one mailed to you. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, they aren't able to identity my damn identity so they're also out of the picture now.

I WANT TO ORDER FROM THIS VENDOR :l

I made an earlier med Feb which never arrived. I never got a letter so I assumed it was lost or stolen by someone who enjoyed my product choice.

I placed a new order March 5, it was posted in 2 seperate letters, one on the 6th then one on the 7th.

Today is March 17 and I received 1 letter (so excited and appreciative of quick delivery) which contained my largest part of the order (fk yeah /default_smile.png , but I also received a love letter from customs today too. I thought it was part 2 of my order that got scanned and picked up, but it turns out it was my order from early feb for xnx. So I can now comfortably be assured that LL's can be sent out ridiculously early or ridiculously late ( the officer signed it off on March 15th).

I found it quite funny that my 2 letters I got was a customs love letter aswell as part 1 of my  2 part order.

The only thing I am concerned about is if I get unlucky and my part 2 doesn't get through, that's another customs letter getting sent to my same address. Would I be in some sort of extra trouble considering it would be 2 seizures for controlled substances of different classes in a space of not much time? I know for sure this is me done ordering for a while (damn!) as I'm not keen on using my address anymore.

I am from Australia so our laws and border protection processes are different, but if anyone could help me out with some information regarding my situation that would be fantastic.

To everyone else waiting for your order, all the best, there;s no better feeling than when you open your letterbox and having your treasure inside, waiting to be opened :3

I have tried to register with these people a couple of times, to no avail. Has anyone else tried to register and have not received a response? I don't understand what the problem would be. cheers

Bad IP/wrong country ? Did you give each attempt a couple of days ? Did you use the 'right' type of email address ? Some IOPS just don't accept certain email services.

  11. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 lol I am actually surprised it is a real ID. I needed those documents because my license had been expired for over a year and I had to start all over. Nothing was in the system. It was a huge mess. I had no clue I was signing up for Real ID. They asked me for the exact same documents that I needed for a State ID Card.
  12. S @ soupson: bless your heart buddy. no sense of grammar or proper insults/jokes. you need this place in ways i can’t comprehend
  13. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: Sweet Ol' Me asked about Real ID, Stoup. Are you responsive to emails ? LMAO

  16. drjimmy1964 @ drjimmy1964: @bigblueallda I was under the impression that you'd need all of the points to get a real ID . I'd check it's validity if you're gonna fly domestic any time soon, just to make sure. Not to tell you what to do, sorry -
  17. B @ bigblueallda: @drjimmy1964 In my state to get a Real ID, I need SS card, Birth Certificate and two proofs of residency. Which I am positive I had to provide to get a new ID when it had been expired.
