Invite Only-Password protected

As the title says  Invite Only-Password protected  is this some secret thing that I never read about?  I'm sure someone will point me to the instructions or rules - please don't shout at me though.

i saw this also.  i think it is a mostly secure forum in which v.i.p members can discuss things that are important (ie, policies, decisions on bans, etc).  it might be for regular members also, and might even have post count minimum to get in.  but at any rate, it is most likely as the title implies (by invitation only).  all speculation on my part of course, since i have not been invited to one yet.

It's not really any of those things. Any member, sapphire and above, can start a topic about anything they want in there and invite whomever they wish. So far only staff have used it for vetting potential vendors, but as I said,  it can be utilised by sapphire members and above. ☺

It's a place where any member who is a sapphire sponsor or above (that would be you @bugbear) can start a thread and invite other members to participate. It's only minimally moderated
